The room was great and spacious, but my room type didn't have a window, so it was always dark and only lit by lamps. This made me want to just crash as soon as I got back to the hotel. The front desk service was superb! The location was fantastic; my good impression of Rome is largely thanks to choosing this hotel with its excellent location. I wasn't scared to walk back even at 1 or 2 AM because it's a bustling area with police patrols every so often.

The central location is great. A negative point is the very noisy air conditioning.

We’ve stayed at Valadier 2 times. The location is just perfect. We like the style and the interior of the hotel. Staff at front desk are nice and helpful. Some rooms can be bit narrow or with small windows which can be sometimes frustrating but overall the hotel is fine .

Expensive for what it is. Excellent location.

Very bad experience. I can only say that the price is 1500 and the level is 150. The entrance of the hotel is very good, and the room is quite far to walk to. It takes seven or eight turns to get to the room. The room was small and the service was poor. The cleaning staff tampered with my belongings but the hotel wouldn't fix it. If you have a choice, it is recommended not to live in the old town.

I booked a room in this hotel for 6 nights on December 15, 2023! ! ! 2 months in advance, 6 nights, triple room. Due to changes in my itinerary, the 6-night room (from the 10th to the 16th) was divided into three bookings. In order to avoid changing rooms, I specifically searched the hotel group’s email in China and received an email confirmation from VALADIER GROUP-Claudio Iversa, director of Sales & Reservation: 6-night rooms can be stayed continuously, and there is no need to change rooms twice! (I also printed this email and showed it to the front desk, but it was completely useless!) Result: On the evening of February 10, 2024, due to hotel system problems, two adults and one child arrived at the hotel at 10 o'clock in the evening and were told that I had canceled my night room, and they did not recognize Ctrip's payment voucher when I showed it! Finally, after negotiating with Ctrip over the phone, we agreed to pay a bank pre-authorization of 400 euros for the night of stay, and we also had to change rooms the next day! I will change to room number 301 on the night of February 11th to 12th, 2024. This should be the most corner room type in the hotel! Shouldn't the room type booked two months in advance be a corner room like this? ! ! ! Because there was a problem with the hotel system on the first night, I thought there would be an apologetic attitude, but I didn't expect that room 301 looked like a room that was deliberately trying to mess with people! Rooms booked 2 months in advance are as follows: #There is no air circulation at all. The only small window that can be opened is a bunch of trees and pipes. After opening the window, I thought I lived in a basement! #The air conditioner is broken and cannot display the temperature. There is only a remote control. When it is turned on, it makes a clicking sound and wakes people up. #Adults and children are unbearably noisy and hot at night. All had sore throats. After enduring it for two nights, I couldn't bear it anymore and complained to Ctrip! Fortunately, Ctrip's customer service is very good, with quick responses and efficient resolution. But the hotel did not take the initiative to find me to solve the problem as promised to Ctrip. Instead, I went to the front desk to consult in the morning. They said as if by chance: Did you tell Ctrip that you have a problem? If you have any questions, go to the front desk, not anyone else. If you want to change rooms, you need to pack your luggage now. I still have to fiddle with my luggage! ! ! For three nights from February 13th to 15th, 2024, I finally stayed in a decent triple room! I checked out on the 16th, and the bank pre-authorization of 400 euros for the first night, which I promised would be released after leaving the hotel, was not released until I returned to China on the 21st. But with Ctrip’s guarantee, the money should not be lost. Overall accommodation experience: I think the hotel itself has a serious tendency to bully Chinese people! ! ! Worst hotel service in nearly 20 years The location of the hotel is very good, the buffet breakfast on the terrace is also good, and the front desk seems to have a great attitude, but it cannot make up for the main negative review of the accommodation!

Yes, the room is in a retro style. The staff is very enthusiastic and seems to have received formal training. There was someone at the door who helped us with our luggage and sent us to the room. The only drawback is that the room and bathroom are relatively small. The location is very good, it is convenient to go everywhere
