Hotel Napoleon

Booked hotel due to proximity to main train station. We were greeted warmly by reception and given a triple room on the 5th floor. The involved using 2 different lifts and lugging our suitcases up several sets of stairs. No offer of help. Our room was a good size, but the decor was dated. Bathroom was the worst part. Dated old suit with a shower attachment to the taps that only dribbled water through. Awful. Our bathroom door was warped too and didn’t shut at all. Best part of the room was the cool air conditioning. This could be a really great hotel, but it needs some TLC and some money spent on it. It could be a really good hotel.

There was a bus station outside of the hotel and that was very convenient. Also the reception was helpful and kind.

location was perfect after getting off the cruise ship.

It was ok for an overnight stay. No tea or coffee making facilities. Room & bathroom old & tired but price reflects this I suppose.

When we check at 2 am the receptionist was indifferent, sarcastic and gave me the incorrect room -- a tiny and inferior room very different to the one I booked on trip.com. I was told due to my booking is set as one single person, the room I originally reserved was instead allocated instead to others, as it is a room with queen sized bed, meant for two person, even the price is the same. Furthermore I was an charged extra fee of 30 euros per night, 90 in total, due to some 'unknown fee' as I had an accompanying friend -- I have to pay 90 euro extra for a room not even half the size to the one I originally reserved. The only good thing would be breakfast, decent choice and taste, that's all.

Hotel with a good location but accommodation is really old.

The day shift reception guys is very nice.

The transportation is very convenient,close to the MTR. and service is nice.
