This was my second stay at the Lucilla Palace Hotel, and just like last time, I was able to store my luggage when I arrived early. When I checked in, they specifically offered to upgrade me to a larger room. After I agreed, they took me to the Hive (Hive Hotel) next door. The room was indeed much bigger than before, and both are 4-star hotels. The air conditioning was powerful, and it was clean and hygienic. I only took a picture of the TV in the room, and it was actually playing CCTV's Xinwen Lianbo (news program), haha!

The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location! It's a five-minute walk from Termini train station, and you can easily walk to Piazza della Repubblica or take the metro to almost all of Rome's famous attractions. The room was incredibly small, barely fitting a suitcase. The elevator was freely accessible, with no keycard needed, which felt very unsafe for a city like Rome. I had to barricade the door with a chair and my luggage when I slept because the door couldn't even be deadbolted! For nearly 2000 a night, this was a rip-off. I suggest Ctrip implements stricter and more thorough screening for overseas hotels to protect consumer interests.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. We booked a 4 people room,and it was very spacious. The air conditioning was quiet, and the safe box was large enough to fit a laptop. The location was excellent as well—less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We arrived in the morning, and the hotel kindly stored our luggage free of charge. We could also refill our water bottles at the restaurant whenever we wanted. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a great variety of choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the subway station. It was incredibly convenient to take the direct train from the airport to the central train station – super fast! Getting around from here is a breeze, and the front desk service is great. Although the room isn't huge, it's clean and the shower pressure is fantastic. Recommended. It would be even better if bottled water was provided in the room.
