Hotel Impero Rome

It was okay. The location was good, and given that Switzerland is generally expensive, the price wasn't too bad. There was no air conditioning, but the temperature at night was fine. Overall, it was decent. Switzerland is pricey anyway. They offer a free public transport pass, which the staff didn't explicitly mention, but luckily I overheard it.

On the first night of our stay, our bags were rummaged through and opened. I felt very unsafe 😓. The room was tiny, and the front desk staff were unhelpful. Being next to the opera house, it was a bit noisy at night. For a 1400/night room (including tax), even the water in the fridge cost extra. The whole experience was really disappointing. The only upside was the good location, close to bus stops, the metro, and the train station. I do not recommend this place!

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel was very close to all the attractions, within walking distance.

Really great experience overall! They initially gave me a room without a window, but when I spoke to the front desk, they kindly switched me to a room with a balcony. Everything else was really good.
