The room was clean however the bathroom, while almost brand new and lovely, seems to have septic ventilation issues. The smell was strong and hard to tolerate. The building itself is tired and in need of extensive renovations but has tons of old world charm and potential.

The hotel isn't too far from the train station, which is pretty convenient. I arrived at the hotel at 9 AM, but couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. That policy is quite inconvenient. The room itself is very old, and the facilities are just average. The bathroom drain also had a really strong odor.

A 10-minute walk from the Central Station, this place offers a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area. The first room I was assigned had a foul, musty odor, making it uninhabitable. It seemed like the toilet might have been broken and without water. After contacting the staff, they immediately came to inspect and moved me to a different room. Although this room was a bit smaller, it had a refrigerator and a kettle, which I actually preferred.

Very bad hotel and bad service

Forgot to take photos! But this is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, maybe even worse than some guesthouses in China. The toilet was leaking and smelled terrible! The odor was so strong that we had to keep the bathroom door tightly shut and the window open just to barely not smell it. It took a very long time for the hot water to come out. Although it's not far from Termini Station, the area around it was so noisy it felt like sleeping on a major road. Service was practically zero. And yet, one night cost over a thousand! I recommend staying in a youth hostel instead, at least it's cheaper.

This hotel has a good location, not far from the central station, and it's convenient and safe for public transport. There are both Chinese and Western restaurants nearby. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the service is just average. I didn't compare prices beforehand, and later found out I paid a few hundred more than I should have.

This is the first time I've ever felt the need to leave a bad review for a hotel. The Wi-Fi was practically non-existent, incredibly slow, and I could barely load text content.

This place was scary. Would not recommend. Smelt bad. Bathroom was dirty. Broken toilet seat, shower and no amenities. Requested room to be twin and had to make it ourselves. Nope

The hotel was conveniently located and had no issues through an administration perspective, however the room was very cold with no heating (which was needed at the time of my stay).

The room had a strong odor, but the service was good; they changed our room, which was nice.

The building is really old and dated, but the room was well-cleaned and not bad. There's a very old elevator that can only fit two people.

It's a normal hotel with a good location, the only thing that was damaged was the bathroom, which created discomfort. The shower didn't work well.

Philia is one of the cleaniest hotel in Rome. I have lodged in many hotels in Rome, but Philia is on top. From the corridor to rooms are well cleaned. ROOMS AND BEDS ARE KEPT CLEANED EACH DAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND PHILiA for tourist. Philia has an well functioning elevator. The staff are amazing,The Lady who takes care of the rooms is polite.
