Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was nice, clean, and conveniently located

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing and stressful. The experience started off badly because there was no elevator available, which made moving luggage and going up and down extremely difficult. During check-in, communication was also a major problem since the reception staff could barely speak English, and the information I received was unclear and incomplete. On top of that, the staff’s attitude did not feel professional or welcoming. In several situations, the tone and behavior seemed unfair, and it felt like guests were not treated equally, which made me uncomfortable. When I tried to address the issues, I didn’t receive a clear explanation or any real effort to help—just a cold and indifferent response. Overall, I had a negative experience and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially if you care about basic facilities, respectful service, and smooth communication.

We have already been there twice and I'm going to choose them the next time too. Staff, comfort, atmosphere, breakfast, cleanliness: 5*, location: 4*, but the bus station is in the front of the house. We loved the close location of the Gelateria La Romana:) Thank you for the hospitality!

My partner and I had a lovely one night stay at Deseo Home. We booked this place due its proximity to the train station and an underground metro station. That underground line was however out of service during this weekend due to works, but we were able to walk to another station and connect from there. We walked to Colosseum this morning (just over 30 minutes) so overall a good location despite that problem. The room was nice and modern, and AC worked well. Our bed was very comfortable. There is a shared coffee/ tea station in the hallway, but you have individual tea and coffee capsules in your room. The only negative about this hotel was the bathroom. Despite having been modernised, the shower still had significant drainage and water pressure problems. That needs to be addressed if managed wants to make Deseo a premium hotel. However, I felt it unfair to detract a whole star fromt review as all other aspects of the stay were great. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were offered a drink at check in and were taken to our room, some old fashioned customer service. Breakfast was also pretty good with a selection of savoury food and sweet cakes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Deseo Home is situated not too far from Terminin, and buses from Termini stop right outside. Thr staff were very welcoming and friendly and what was really.good was that the air conditioning was great allowing me to sleep comfortably after a busy hot day of sightseeing. The area is also very quiet - certainly a plus in Rome. The breakfast was.also varied and fresh. Slight drawbacks were that the small single bedroom and bathroom were a bit tiny (maybe I need to lose more weight so I can move around more easily) and when I had a shower, the water seeped a little onto the bedroom floor. But these were minor.points.

I recommend! Couldn't find anything to complain about! Great service, good location, refrigerator with cold water in the room, clean and comfortable, elevator, tea and coffee available 24h, 12min walk distance to the main train station, good price, very nice breakfast!
