Mercure properties in Rome

Only here for 1 night on a stop over from our flight before we reached our town in Italy. A very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast - definitely worth paying for. Have been to Italy countless times and many meals eaten however the best so far was at this hotel restaurant.

Excellent location. We could easily walk to the Colosseum every day, and having a scooter rental station right outside the door was incredibly convenient. However, the facilities are quite dated. The air conditioning unit in my room had an unresponsive touch control, which was a bit of a hassle.

The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the metro station, making it easy to explore Rome's attractions. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, and housekeeping is prompt and thorough every day. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with good water pressure and quick hot water. The front desk staff are warm and professional, speak fluent English, and check-in was efficient. They also thoughtfully provided recommendations for nearby restaurants. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options; the croissants were especially flaky and delicious, and the coffee was rich. The hotel has good soundproofing, allowing for a quiet and restful night's sleep. Although the room size isn't huge, the layout is well-designed, facilities are complete, and the air conditioning works powerfully. It offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended for both business and leisure travel.

I chose two separate beds, but in the end I got a room with one bed. I don't know if it was the hotel's fault or the booking service's, but I didn't bother to sort it out when I checked in, because I didn't want to ruin my relationship with the hotel.

The room was clean and with a very cool style. The location is a bit far from the city center but it’s accessible via Metro. Overall it was a nice experience.

Great staff, service and location. I feel safe even after accidentally left my mobile phone and cash in the hotel room. The cleaning staff did not touch them at all. I enjoyed the food and drink at the hotel cafe as well, a cafe latte and an espresso at the end of breakfast is a must!

After a terrifying first night at another hotel, this place felt like an absolute lifesaver. I didn't make it to the rooftop pool during its open hours, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the sunset view of the Colosseum directly from the rooftop.

The rooms are spacious and fully equipped. The hotel lobby is stylish and the exterior scenery is very good. Free airport transfer service is also provided. This is rare in Rome. Nearby 1 km walk to Carrefour Supermarket, you can buy things to bring home.
