Howard Johnson by Wyndham Romulus Detroit Metro Airport Reviews

This hotel stole my money. when i did check-in, They said I had to pay $50 for deposit. so I paid with my credit card. However, I checked later and found that $112.3 was paid 20 seconds before $50 was paid. I complained about this, but they didn't offer any solutions. They just said they didn't know why it happened. $50 was refunded, but $112.3 was not. I'm currently having a hard time resolving this issue with Trip.com and the credit card company. can I ever get my money back from these thieves? maybe, i don't think so.

Excellent property, with friendly, accommodating staff Super clean, efficient, responsive airport shuttle. Simple breakfast I'll be back for sure.

Good for the price paid. Was allowed to check in a bit early. Room better than red roof. Towels could be newer. Bed sheets, pillow covers could be starch ironed. Deeper cleaning of the bathroom would be great. Internet didnt work well. Parking lot needs cleaning. Good hotel for the Detroit area.

The room was great as usual no complaints staff were friendly as usual and the breakfast was even better lol...this my favorite hotel to come stay at ...really a great team overall...the rooms are definitely worth it for the price and i would recommend howard johnson to everyone.

Terrible stay here as my room smells. My pillow had the worst smell that I have to move it away from me. Did they even wash that?

Really nice hotel. My room was clean and they have really nice staff.

When we got to the room we found that the TV and microwave wouldn’t work at the same time. The next day I told the front desk and I assume they sent out maintenance while we were gone because it worked after that. I wish there was a note left or something but I was glad it worked. Cleanliness wasn’t that good the floors were still dirty unfortunately.
