"This hotel was by far the best-looking one we saw along the road in Tangkou Town! It's right by the main road, easy to find, but they also offer a shuttle service! The front desk service was great, and the room was a pleasant surprise – spacious, clean, and comfortable! The two sinks were perfect for a trip with a girlfriend! Highly recommend this hotel! I also want to praise the lady in charge of the tour groups at the hotel; she was so patient with her explanations and made thoughtful recommendations. I'm glad I took her advice and joined a tour group – it saved us a lot of steps climbing Huangshan! Overall, it was a fantastic experience."

"My favourite stay out of all of the accomodations I've stayed in China thus far. Serene yet convenient location close to everything you need. Owners will arrange drives to anywhere you need to go. The food at this homestay is better than anything you could find in town and the portions are generous. During the time that I was there, they coordinated my drives to and from Huangshan, took care of my drive to and from the train station, and coordinated my daytrip to and from Hongcun. The front staff are absolutely lovely and provided me with a lot of fresh fruit and snacks. The rooms are simply gorgeous and there was no better way to unwind after a long hike at Huangshan than to take a dip in their bathtub with the complimentary bath salts. There's even a cute little kitten out front. Don't even hesitate to book this place and be sure to not only try their tea, but also try their mijiu (rice wine)."

"This hotel is said to be the childhood home of Zhu Zhishan, meticulously maintained and converted into a garden-style hotel. It's a sprawling estate with relatively independent buildings and rooms, each with intricate architecture and scenic views at every turn. Afternoon tea is served at a traditional opera stage, and various small stone lions are scattered throughout the grounds. Travelers who appreciate Jiangnan-style gardens will surely be delighted. We checked in on Mid-Autumn Festival, and the hotel even hosted a moon worship ceremony, with fish lanterns and fireworks in the Xixinan area, creating a very lively atmosphere. The service team seems to be primarily family or local residents, and there's a noticeable gap compared to the professionalism of a star-rated hotel staff. Their responses to inquiries and adherence to daily service standards felt a bit relaxed, suggesting they haven't quite matched the quality of this excellent hotel yet."

"The location is excellent, right in the heart of the scenic area. The hotel also provides station pick-up and drop-off, making for a seamless and very convenient experience. Although it was my first time booking a B&B, I was truly impressed. As mentioned in other reviews, the service was outstanding, and responses were prompt. All staff members were incredibly attentive and helpful. The restaurant food was also delicious; I particularly recommend the roasted local pork chop. My only minor suggestion would be for the breakfast to offer a bit more variety. They also provide a thoughtful and considerate laundry service. Our butler even gave us a tour of the B&B's other facilities and courtyard, which was a very pleasant surprise. Just one suggestion: it would be great if the children's policy could be more flexible or accommodating. While our specific issues were resolved smoothly, an initially unaccommodating policy might deter many potential guests."

"This hotel with hot springs is great; it's not crowded right now, so it's very quiet. You can enjoy the outdoor hot springs from 5-9 PM, which is really relaxing after a mountain hike. The bed is also very comfortable, perfect for someone who's had a long day. The breakfast is quite rich, especially since you can see Tiandu Peak, Lotus Peak, and Meimao Peak from the viewing terrace. Besides the outdoor public hot springs, there are also rooms with private baths. It's really good, I recommend staying here."

"It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service! They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks. Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!"

"We arrived in Huangshan in the morning after departing from Shanghai, and the hotel staff kindly helped us with an early check-in. They even provided us with hiking sticks and offered a ride to the entrance of Huangshan. What I loved the most, however, was the hotel itself. It was not only spotless but also the most memorable accommodation during our 10-day trip in China. The room was very clean and incredibly spacious, so we were extremely satisfied. If I visit Huangshan again with my parents in the future, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality."

"Extremely satisfied with my stay here. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the hygiene was absolutely impeccable. I especially fell in love with the Aegean-style decor and the pool right away. My only regret is that I came at the wrong time of year; in the summer, kids could really enjoy splashing around and having fun in the pool. I've already decided that if I visit Huangshan city again in the summer, I'll definitely be staying at this hotel."

"What a pleasant surprise! It even has its own small swimming pool! This designer boutique B&B is clean and refreshing, and you can even make tea in the lobby! The breakfast is excellent, and the owner personally prepares dinner, using fresh ingredients and making it delicious! The owner personally picked us up at the Huangshan Scenic Area, and the kids loved playing in the water in Emerald Valley. It was a perfect choice, absolutely amazing!"

"I particularly wanted to commend the owner's family and all the staff – everyone was incredibly warm and helpful. The owners even rescue stray cats, which was lovely to see! The accommodation itself was excellent. They boast a mountain spring-fed swimming pool at the mountaintop, and along the paths, you'll find charming fish ponds and pet ducks. They also provide complimentary hiking poles. The food was absolutely delicious; we enjoyed meals there both on our way up and down the mountain. I highly recommend the Stone Ear Mushroom Stew with Local Chicken (so fragrant!), the Huangshan Ganoderma Lucidum dish (wonderfully crispy), the Braised Pork with Bamboo Shoots (a bit rich but utterly delicious), and the original-flavored Huangshan Shortbread. To top it all off, the hostess makes her own wine, and they offer wild kiwis, mulberries, and other local treats – truly a delightful surprise! Oh, and we also had the chance to sample some tea; the Maofeng tea was of excellent quality, which was an added bonus!"
