Being right on the Lancang River, you get amazing, wide-open river views with plenty of natural light. The facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and everything is clean! The hotel's breakfast restaurant also offers river views, and the breakfast spread is rich and varied. The front desk service is warm and attentive; they even gave us a welcome gift, which was a lovely touch! I sincerely recommend this place."

Upon entering, it feels like stepping into a tropical paradise. The resort grounds are expansive, lush with greenery, and peacocks roam freely, making every turn a picturesque photo opportunity. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring private balconies with scenic views. The decor incorporates ethnic elements, and the bedding and bathroom amenities are high-quality. Soundproofing and privacy are also excellent. Breakfast offers a wide variety, including local Dai snacks, as well as Chinese and Western dishes, all tasting great. Family-friendly facilities are top-notch, with ample swimming pools, children's activities, and cultural experiences. The service is warm and attentive. I recently stayed at Lushan Xishang Banshan Hotel during my trip to Xishuangbanna, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, always going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They took excellent care of me, washing my clothes, tidying up my room every day, and providing me with the cleanest, most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. My room had a fantastic hot tub, and I loved soaking in it while watching the scenic views of the city. The bright lights from the buildings lit up the skyline at night, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was also fantastic — a great way to start each day with a variety of delicious options. One of the highlights was the late check-out, which really made my departure stress-free. A huge part of my experience was the driver the hotel recommended for me. Not only was he an excellent driver, but he also became like a brother to me. He genuinely cared about my safety and helped interpret for me at the markets, which was a huge help. We spent the day visiting great restaurants and shopping spots, and his joy and enthusiasm made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. He also took me to some famous religious landmarks, where I got to experience the local culture and history in a way I never would have without his guidance. His kindness and attention to detail made my trip feel even more special. This amazing service was all arranged by the hotel, and I’m so grateful for their recommendation. "Immersed in the breezy tropical tranquility of the Lancang River. The moment I checked into the Jiangyu Jiangxia Hotel, I was blown away by the expansive views of the Lancang River. The heated rooftop infinity pool was a highlight of my trip – the azure mosaic tiles blend seamlessly with the river, and palm and banana trees unfurl their tropical charm by the poolside. I ordered a floating afternoon tea, and a wicker tray carrying cream cake and freshly cut fruit gently drifted over to me with the subtle ripple of the water. Sunlight filtered through the coconut leaves, casting shimmering golden reflections on the champagne flutes. The cool water washed away the afternoon heat, leaving only a sense of languor and serenity. As evening approached, the sunset painted the river honey-gold, the buildings of Gaozhuang across the bank lit up with warm light, and the distant bridge lights strung together like a river of stars. The evening breeze, carrying the moist scent of the river, brushed through my hair. In that moment, I understood the true meaning of 'luxury' – a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Returning to the room at night, the minimalist grey-toned space featured a unique design aesthetic with a镂空（镂空 should be translated as 'cut-out' or 'openwork' to describe the staircase） cut-out art staircase colliding with curved archways. "The hotel is right next to the Starlight Night Market, making it super convenient for getting around. The room design is lovely, with views of the Lancang River from the window and the pool right downstairs – perfect for photos! Just a heads-up: the steps into the pool are quite wide, making it easy to misstep, and the edges could easily hurt your feet."

Before check-in, the front desk will call to ask about the pick-up station, and also provide shuttle bus pick-up for Gaozhuang scenic area Location: Right next to Gaozhuang, very suitable for self-driving, because the parking lot is just opposite. This is very convenient, and because it is outside Gaozhuang, it is not very noisy There is a small balcony, it is very comfortable to blow the wind and drink on the balcony at night Although there are not many varieties of breakfast in the morning, it tastes very good, rice noodles are recommended."

Lower floors facing the street can be noisy, so I recommend requesting a higher floor or a room facing the inner courtyard. ## Location: The hotel is conveniently located close to the Starlight Night Market and Gaozhuang, making it very accessible. ## Service: The front desk staff are polite, greet guests with a standing welcome, and promptly answer questions and provide directions. Check-in and check-out processes are also very efficient, which is commendable."

"If you're staying in Gaozhuang, this hotel comes highly recommended. If you prioritize quality, stay in the West Tower. The East Tower is apartments. The location is excellent. While it's hard to get a taxi to the Botanical Garden, it's just a few minutes' walk to the bus stop for public transport. A big thank you to Xiaoyu at the front desk for her excellent service and for upgrading us to a river view room. From the balcony, you get the most perfect night view: the night market, bonfire party, and the Six Nations music stage. You can even stand on the balcony and join in the fun below! But when it's time to sleep, closing the window blocks out the noise completely. Early sleepers might find the river view rooms a bit noisy. My daughter said after staying here, she felt like the 1600 RMB we spent on the Atour Jingta Temple for the previous two nights was a complete rip-off. This room is also incredibly spacious. The only downside is that this room type doesn't have a bathtub. During Chinese New Year, breakfast was a little crowded."

"The hotel staff had an excellent service attitude! They helped me upgrade to a larger room. The guy at the front desk even helped me carry my super heavy luggage up to the second floor when I arrived, and pushed it for me when I left—I'm so grateful! The front desk lady with short hair was also very kind, always smiling gently and speaking softly. Communication was always easy if I had any questions. The hotel's hygiene was great, and the view from the window was quite beautiful. The guesthouse had a cozy and atmospheric vibe. It was completely quiet at night, though there was a little noise during the day. They also gave me a lot of fruit (more than the welcome fruit amenity at five-star hotels!). The location was also very convenient, close to everything. If you're going to the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, you can take a bus from the nearby tourist distribution center (25 RMB). There are also many makeup and styling shops around, and the Starlight Night Market is very close. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I will definitely come back!"
