But when traveling with kids, you need 200% confidence and certainty, and that's precisely where the InterContinental Zhuhai excels. From the patient and friendly staff to the refreshed facilities, you'd never guess this hotel opened in 2018. It has completely defied the 'seven-year itch' common in the hotel industry. Since four of us were staying, every time we returned to the hotel after a day out, we'd find four pairs of slippers neatly arranged at the entrance, all pointing inward. They say details reveal true quality, and I believe that's what 'feeling at home' truly means. The room's amenities are excellent, of course. Highlights include the double vanity in the bathroom and the bathtub, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the magnificent Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the endless romance of Lovers' Road. I want to extend a special thanks to Lydia, our 'service goddess,' for her comprehensive and impeccable service before, during, and after our stay. She significantly enhanced the efficiency of our Zhuhai trip, profoundly embodying the people-centric nature of the hospitality industry and upholding InterContinental's core philosophy of sincere hospitality, a tradition spanning over two centuries. As we departed, the clouds broke, and the sunlight glistened on the sparkling sea, like a shower of diamonds. It felt like nature's gift to the diligent hotel staff. "The hotel is clean and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and stable water pressure in the shower. The location is superb, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The park shuttle downstairs makes it very convenient to get to all Chimelong parks. My child loved it! The hotel is new, with great views and a good outlook. The staff are very patient and have a good service attitude, and the front desk is very professional. The location is fantastic, with everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby, making it perfect for families with kids. It's also very close to the high-speed train station and the airport. The lobby is large, whimsically designed, and very well-lit! All the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The hotel lobby is well-equipped, and the lobby staff provide excellent service, responding promptly to any requests. The concierge offers free and fast luggage storage, and the floor attendants are also very welcoming. The room is clean, tidy, and warmly decorated, with all facilities available. My child particularly loved the ocean-themed cups and toothbrushes – so cute! There are many shuttle bus services, and the drivers are very friendly. It's very convenient and fun to bring children here, and the hotel service is also very thoughtful. All in all, this is a highly recommended hotel! The restaurant's dishes are fresh, delicious, and well-balanced nutritionally, and the service staff are attentive to children. Plus, the hotel's location is super convenient, with easy transport connections to all Chimelong parks. The reception staff greeted us warmly, and check-in was very quick. The hotel tried its best to meet all our needs, making our stay even smoother. The room was well-lit, cozy, comfortable, clean, and odor-free. "The hotel location is perfect. Minutes away from the beach and easily accessed by any public transportation. The room is nothing fancy but good enough since we don't always stay inside the room. I really appropriate for allowing me to have higher floor so that I can see nice view of both sunset & sunrise. The most important it is price wise. I might likely come again one day."

The delicate handwriting of our floor's guest room manager, Juan Juan, really showed how much care they put in, making this the most touching service I've experienced in years. The front desk staff and reception were also excellent, proactively helping us upgrade our room. The room facilities were new and comfortable, receiving unanimous praise from my family."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right along Lovers' Road. A huge thank you to Olivia Ou, who made arrangements and upgraded our room even before we arrived. After check-in, we were treated to a delicious spread of fruit, freshly baked cookies, and chocolates – absolutely amazing! Our room offered a stunning 180-degree sea view, with breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Shell Theater. Other facilities like the fitness center, pool, and sauna were also excellent."

"We had a great stay here. Reception was friendly and the man was helpful taking our bags up to the room for us. We could see the water from our room. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. We used the spa and sauna which was great. The gym was large with lots of equipment. Service was fast when we needed extra water or towels. Close to Jingshan mountain, short didi ride. Took the cable car up and slide down, it was fun! Would recommend this hotel."

"I had the pleasure of experiencing the Zhuhai Xiangshan Hotel, MGM Huafu during New Year's Day, and it was truly a five-star experience. Tucked away down a discreet, tree-lined road, the entrance features a sophisticated, understated lobby instead of an ostentatious canopy. The enthusiastic concierge team meticulously assisted guests from their cars into the lobby and took care of their luggage. The lobby resembles a study, with a double-height ceiling and bookshelves extending from floor to ceiling. Old Zhuhai photographs and Lingnan wood carvings are artfully interspersed. Instead of a cold, conventional check-in counter, there are two rosewood desks and a large executive desk. After the staff skillfully completed the check-in process, a dedicated team member escorted us to our room. This stay was exceptional. We experienced both the Lakeside Hidden Pool Villa and the Kids' Fun Courtyard Family Room. Since the family room was fully booked initially, the butler promptly adjusted our reservation the next day. First, about the villa. The room was in the standalone 'Huafu' building. As soon as the door opened, the smart curtains automatically drew back, revealing the lakeside courtyard. The minibar was well-stocked with various beverages, chocolates, and a Nespresso machine, ensuring every aspect of our stay was meticulously catered for. The next day, we moved into the family room, located in a separate area next to the gym, requiring key card access. This family room immediately won over my child. Entering the guest area, you're greeted by a double-layered window. Fluffy cloud plush toys were neatly arranged on the bed, and the exclusive children's amenities were even more exquisite than mine: Appelles mini green box toothbrushes – truly an Appelles showcase. The hotel is fully equipped, from the gym and heated pool to the two daily intangible cultural heritage handicraft activities. Your stay is packed with things to do, ensuring you're never idle. The gym is the best I've ever experienced; every piece of equipment is meticulously maintained and looks brand new. Towels and bottled water are readily available, and they even provide headphones. Throughout our stay, Butler Angie provided continuous service. Their service is genuinely the most perfect I've experienced in any hotel in China. From pre-arrival transportation and daily weather reminders to service feedback, responses were instantaneous. They even helped deliver takeout countless times. When we requested room essentials, before I could even put down my phone, a staff member was already delivering them. It truly gives you a sense of home when you're away, with every need meticulously taken care of. During our stay, Mr. Zheng from the concierge team took care of everything, from shuttling to the villa area, delivering luggage to the room, transferring luggage, and taking luggage to the parking lot. His service was swift and incredibly polite, making you feel almost embarrassed by how well you were looked after. True five-star service isn't about gilded extravagance; it's about simmering the slow pace of Lingnan, the essential oils of Australia, and the human touch of old Zhuhai, all together in a 'Huafu' clay pot. Slowly brewed over a gentle flame, it culminates in one phrase: ”Welcome home.” I look forward to sharing another holiday with Huafu next time."

"For our Chimelong family trip, following recommendations from several friends, we chose to stay at the Hengqin Bay Hotel, and our overall experience over a few days was indeed excellent. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright with a simple design, and the understated decor creates a relaxing arrival atmosphere. The check-in process was efficient. The room arrangements clearly showed thoughtful consideration for families with children. The amenities were comprehensive, and the children's specific items were a very nice touch. The mattresses and pillows were just right, providing a comfortable sleep environment for the whole family. The staff proactively offered a non-slip mat and adjusted the minibar's location to prevent young children from accidentally touching it – truly attentive to detail. The dining experience was good. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection and consistent quality. The Fisherman's Wharf Tea Restaurant became our go-to for dinner; their dim sum was authentic, and the fresh shrimp wonton noodles are a must-try. The restaurant also catered well to children, providing dedicated utensils and high chairs. The leisure facilities are a major highlight of the hotel. Our child went to the Water World every day, and the indoor heated pool was also a great place to relax. Evening strolls in the hotel garden have become a family tradition, and the views of the flamingos and dolphin pool helped us forget our worries. The butler service was promptly responsive and even proactively helped us check operating hours. Overall, the hotel performed steadily across accommodation, dining, entertainment, and service support, making it a satisfying choice."
