Doha Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Great hotel but somehow some of the hotel workers are rude and unprofessional especially the one in the restaurant area. Made an upfront payment for breakfast during check in but upon breakfast, they mentioned that I dont have access for breakfast. After few checking, they mentioned that i can proceed to get my breakfast. When Im taking my breakfast the staff simply took away my plate and humiliated me by saying that I don’t have access to breakfast in front of everyone. They asked me to step out from the restaurant and do the checking again and i asked them to verify either the front desk and only confirmed that I have paid for breakfast. What make thing worse is they never say sorry after that."

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late April-early May. Great location, private beach, spacious apartment-room with a beautiful view of the city or the sea. Overall, everything is great! Important for those who go to the hotel: there are no restaurants or cafes in the hotel (accordingly, it is impossible to buy breakfast for an additional fee), but the presence of a kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave and all the necessary details of a person's everyday life (washing machine, dishwasher) in the room + a huge number of cafes and supermarkets nearby does not create problems with food. Also, upon check-in, a deposit of 1000 QAR is paid for the entire stay, returned after check-out, so you need to be prepared for such expenses from the very beginning:) Otherwise, my best recommendations for accommodation!!!"

"Front desk staff is amazing on all given duty timings while the Housekeeping was bad on service. They don’t turned up despite confirming to clean the room. Moreover, a housekeeper tried to enter the room without any bell with another guest with master key while I was inside the room. Perhaps unknowingly, yet, this should have been highly avoided keeping the privacy of the guest."

"Very nice stay in this hotel. It's actually a series of.different hotels in the same souk waqif area and between them they have pretty much everything. Location is superb, certainly for a first time in Doha. Near the Metro too so it's easy to get around. The staff were extra helpful and eager to please. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Possibly the most comfortable bed ever, even better than marriott. It's a 5 star with a few teething problems, but the friendly staff more than make up for any short comings. Recommended."

"Hotel-style apartment, the room is large and very good. Especially there is a washing machine inside the room, which will be very convenient and convenient. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there is a chain pizza shop and a coffee shop on the first floor."

"A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement."

"This hotel is perfect. Excellent views good food classy swimming pool and the icing on the cake is that they have a washer/dryer in each room. I have 15 days of dirty clothes. The bad news is that the washer/dryer takes about 5 hours to do a load. I was there for three nights and I got all of my clothes cleaned. There's a microwave there's a burner the bathroom's nice the fuse perfect the staff is excellent I have no bad things to say about this hotel except that I wish that I lived there. One one negative about this hotel is that they don't sell alcohol. You have to find another hotel if you want a glass of wine. There's a concierge to help you with travel plans and I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"We had a relaxing and pleasant 3-night stay at this hotel. The room is of reasonable size and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and amazingly helpful. The manager at reception desk was very accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Brian! The hotel is within walking distance to Metro station (Al Doha Al Jadeda). Breakfast was very good and there was many options. Enjoyed happy hour drinks at Stock Burger Bar during our stay. If we ever visit Doha in the future, we will definitely stay again at this hotel."

"The hotel was great, staff were very friendly. Upon arriving the check in was prompt and we received a free welcome drink along with 2 drink vouchers to use within the lounge at the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and included a variety of amenities. We used the gym on site and it was great, has everything that you will/would want in a gym! We had breakfast upon checkout and it was great, there was a wide variety of choices, very well laid out and tasted great. They even provided me with a yogurt bowl to takeout as we didn’t have much time before our flight. Amazing customer service. Would stay here again and highly recommend."
