Alua Golf Trinidad

Stayed at hotel.trinidad for 1 week spacious rooms lots of variety food to choose from!! staff were excellent. Only downside to this hotell is all Spanish people!! hotel.trinidad cater for the spanish more than the english spanish. Stay here may/june/July/august not many English we only seen l.couple all week we were there!!!here can get lonely if ur a couple 2 pools with bar . Entertainment at night is in Spanish talking karaoke/bingo singers!! We were all inclusive but ventured out most night to english bar lillys bar due to not understanding Spanish!! not much to do outside the resort only a few shops and restaurants Beach was shingal beach lots of stones on top of sand so wear sandles. But nice and big beach deckchairs are £6 euros to.hire on.beach if the entertainment was more english it would of been a good holiday that's the only downside to going to this hotel..

Fantastic location right on the promenade and that's about as far as it goes. Food from hell( and believe me i can eat almost anything) but couldn't stomach it. Rooms basic, Spanish holidaymakers hotel and resort. 1 English ex pats pub, nowhere for decent brekkie . Amazing if your 70 plus age and Spanish!

Hotel is based right on the sea front with a lovely promenade to walk down, shops at the front of the entrance. The atmosphere in the Hotel is super friendly and all the staff here are cheerful and helpful at all times. I would like to give a big shout out to Jose on reception who sorted out a huge mistake on our booking when we arrived later at night than expected. He made everything right for us and made our staff super relaxed. He was always smiling. The room was just as in the photo with large comfy beds, and a sea and pool view. Sofa in the room for extra comfort. The only thing i would say is that the TV's are very small but we only switched our on once as the entertainment was on every night. We found the holiday was great value for money and would love to re:visit again in the future. Rooms were cleaned all the time and we had fresh towels on a daily basis. We had no noise at all from other holiday makers which was a nice change, normally you hear a bed move or high heels on the ceiling but we had none of that. They have a gym which was nice and if you ask the reception they have board games to play while in the bar area. We used the table tennis and the basketball court. One small point to be made is that while the food was lovely at the hotel and plenty to choose from we did have some chicken and lamb that we wouldn't eat because it was very under cooked. Snack bar was very nice as well. This was an amazing holiday and we was very sad to be leaving and can not wait till we get to revisit. Many thanks to all the staff on the reception, in the food hall and serving the bars and not forgetting the entertainment.

We booked this hotel because it was dog friendly, after driving for over 3 hours we arrived to the hotel and went to check in, my wife enquired where we could eat breakfast and our other meals with our little Maltese dog only to be told they must remain in the room and were not allowed in any public areas apart from the reception area, when asked if we could sit outside with him we were told the terrace area was closed due to poor weather, it was 26 degrees, also all meals and snacks were served from the inside buffet, nothing open outside on the terrace, I’m sure this is to save money on staff and cleaning, we asked for the complaint form and registered our complaint the female staff member on duty was extremely rude and unhelpful, we asked for a refund after deciding not to bother even checking in as there was no way we were going to leave our dog alone in the room on his own. So if you have a dog avoid this hotel chain at all costs, there policy’s are highly misleading.

If you value your sleep and your peace then please steer clear of this place, out of the 7 nights we've managed 3 full nights sleep due to the excruciatingly loud entertainment being right outside our room, asked to be moved to a quiet room but didn't get any help at all, the entertainment is on til gone midnight so it massively impacted our holiday as we've been so tired we've not felt like doing much, when we've been out we've felt anxious about coming back to the hotel because of the noise. Then the kicker is the hotel has people cutting trees at 7.30 am the next morning so you're tired, cranky and hot because the aircons about as much use as a chocolate teapot. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We were down to play golf and the hotel suited our needs. It was a short walk to the golf. The food was good and there was a good choice so all in the party were catered for. The bar staff were very nice and the drinks were good and plentiful. The all inclusive package worked really well for us.

The worst hotel that i have ever stayed in. The food was barely warm, and the plates were cold. One section of the outdoors was cordoned off due to maintenance work and we were not informed of this. We had a television in our room (for all the good it did) I know we were in Spain but to not have an English channel on it was unbelievable, (Not even Sky News or sub titles) I would not recommend this hotel to anybody

The hotel was in a great position. Staff were friendly and the food was generally good although could have been hotter but the staff were brilliant at clearing away and restocking dishes. Hotel was kept clean and our room with a sea view was spacious and comfortable. Negatives. The air conditioning wasn’t working. One of the pools was closed. The hotel was a bit tired in places.
