Location is fantastic! Just a short walk distance to eat street and lake front. Very convenient for exploring city.

I'd say it's more of an excellent motel than a good hotel. I wasn't thrilled with it, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

The location is totally amazing we have stayed at this Hotel at Matariki weekend for the last 4 years and woudnt stay anywere else

The Regent of Rotorua is a 5-star hotel that, overall, I'd rate as 4-star for Rotorua. The facilities are very comprehensive and modern, and the rooms are quite spacious. It cost NZD 255/night without breakfast, and the location is excellent, with very new room amenities. However, the front desk service wasn't quite up to 5-star standards. The exterior doesn't look particularly grand, and there weren't many parking spaces, so we ended up parking on the street.

Location : Nearby Eat Street. Rotorua is not a big town. If you are self drive, even though not stay around Eat Street, it is not an issue at all. Every place is nearby each others. Cleanliness : Cleaner walked in the room with their shoes. Bed : Soft. Not suitable for old age people. The bed type we request is King Size bed, but is it Queen Size Bed. Hotel didn't provide mineral water for free.

Lovely hotel!

Plus: 1.Good location; 2.Having a hot pool for SPA; 3.Parking is relatively easy. Minus: 1.Old Capet with smells. 2.At room 14 of my stay, I got insect bites around 3 am in the morning .Which was hurt very badly, so I got up and to search for a balm to reduce that pain. When I checked out, I stressed on this bad feeling to the front desk.

Love the room and pool. Pleasant set up, clean and tidy. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The hotel I booked for Chinese New Year was cancelled due to cross-border payment issues… so I booked this one at the last minute. Although it's a typical motel, the cleanliness and facilities were actually okay. It was actually fine if you don't have high expectations. It's located near the city center, making it very convenient to get to the hot springs, food street, and lakeside.

The location is good, but... parking space is very limited, so you have to park on the road.

Auckland to Huka Falls transit hotel, the town is very small and quiet. There is a geothermal park nearby, where you can soak in hot springs. There is no elevator on the second floor of the hotel, which is a key point. We have three big suitcases and it is too tiring. If you have big suitcases, don't stay on the second floor.

Very simple hotel and room facilities, similar to a motel ~ There are few parking spaces, and you can park for free on the street on weekends. The only advantage is that it is close to a street for eating

It is a boutique hotel, the room is quite comfortable, but the bed is relatively soft, slipper toothbrush have to ask the front desk to pick up, but the information writes a children's slipper toothbrush provided, the result is no. The food street is right next door, which is very convenient.
