The room is basically a tent. You can shower, but there's no air conditioning, and it's incredibly cold right now. The small heater did absolutely nothing, we even slept with our clothes on. The service was okay; the girl who checked us in was very enthusiastic, but beyond that, there wasn't much service – you're pretty much on your own! The Pinky Beach near the hotel is beautiful.

The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. They even provided earplugs, which is thoughtful, as some people might find the sound of the waves disruptive to their sleep. A tip for getting to the resort: don't use the resort's name as your destination in GPS, you'll get lost. Instead, set Pinky's Rottnest Island as your destination, as this is also where you check in.

The room was very clean, and the whole environment was peaceful and comfortable. It was a great place to experience nature and enjoy a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was delicious with a generous variety. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back again

This hotel is conveniently located on Rottnest Island, making it easy to get around. We were so happy to spot smiling quokkas right from our room while relaxing! Plus, Pinky Beach and the lighthouse are right next to the hotel, so you feel like you're on vacation even without leaving the premises 👍 We visited in winter, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a heater and an electric blanket, making for a warm and cozy night 👏👏

Our stay at Discovery Rottnest Island's Family Tent with the kids exceeded all expectations. The tent was well-equipped with a large bed, bunk beds, a living area, an ensuite bathroom, a small fridge, microwave, and electric kettle. The canvas tent did feel a bit like 'Wuthering Heights' with the strong winds at night, but thankfully the electric blanket kept us warm during winter, so it wasn't rough at all. Just outside the tent was Pinky Beach, and it was a short walk to The Basin for snorkeling and to Bathurst Lighthouse. Our luggage was delivered directly to the tent entrance from the jetty, making it easy to travel with children. The kids absolutely loved encountering Quokkas (Rottnest Island's adorable marsupial, often called 'smiling quokka') right outside our tent; we'd see them on the lawn in the evenings, which felt much more natural than a zoo. Pinky's offered child-friendly options for breakfast. Be aware that the tent canvas can flap loudly in strong winds at night, so it's advisable to bring earplugs or choose a tent row sheltered from the wind.

Services were good. There was complimentary wifi. We enjoyed the breakfast too.

The room was tiny; once a suitcase was open, there was no space to move. However, it was a nice first experience in a tent, though the bathroom and sleeping area were only separated by a roll-up blind, which was a bit awkward, haha. The bed had an electric heating function, and there was also a fan, but I imagine it would be stifling in the summer.

I highly recommend that everyone visiting Rottnest Island stay at this hotel for a night! It's tent-style accommodation, and the breakfast is delicious – not a huge variety, but everything tastes great. Staying for a night allows you to see so many adorable quokkas. The hotel can also deliver your luggage directly to the ferry terminal the next morning, which is super convenient.

The hotel is located on the northwest corner of Rat Island, about a ten-minute walk from the pier. Luggage can be delivered directly to your room, and when you check out, hotel staff will come to your room door to collect it, which is very convenient. I highly recommend the deluxe rooms, as the tents are spaced further apart. The only minor drawback was that it was a bit windy at night, but the hotel provides earplugs.

I chose this hotel because I wanted to stay on the island. It was great to stay overnight as you get to see a lot of quokkas once the day-trippers leave. The tent rooms were clean, but the high placement of the bathroom mirror was quite amusing.

Even though it's a tented camp, it's incredibly clean. We saw smiling kangaroos every morning and evening – it was absolutely wonderful! The pool and restaurant were both great, and breakfast was included. Plus, unbeatable ocean views and pristine white sands. I highly recommend staying for a night! 😄

Everything about this place was perfect: location, service, and facilities. If I go to Rottnest again, I'd definitely choose here!!!

The hotel's environment is truly exceptional; it's rare to find such a well-appointed hotel on this small island. You can step right out to the beach and swim, and there are many little mice on the island that you can take pictures with – they're really adorable! You can't feed them any human food, but you can give them wild olives or leaves. Being on an island, the price is a bit high for students. I think if you have the means, bringing your own tent to camp would be a better option.

The hotel was incredibly clean and the breakfast was excellent. Beach access was superb too. I really appreciated being able to check in early, around 12 PM, which allowed me to unpack and head out to rent a bicycle. The hot water worked great, and there was even an electric blanket.
