Terres de France - Appart Hotel Rouen Flaubert

The apartment is beautiful, with a lovely terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious, and very nice. It's a shame that the bed is a bit small and the mattress is a bit sagging and hard.

Very disappointed with this rental. The first bedroom had a broken bed leg, making it difficult to sleep. At 10:30 PM, the extractor fan light was out of order, and there was no toilet paper, just the end of a roll. The door handle was in our hands, so we called the night staff. A very friendly person gave us an upgraded room. Whoosh! Much less clean than the first room, the thermostat was dangling and exposed, the electric shutters didn't open, and the mattress was only 12cm thick, whereas the one in the lower-quality room was 28cm. For people over 80kg, hello back pain! The toilet was dirty and full of limescale, and we were asked to wash the dishes before leaving. No dish towels were provided, especially for just two cups. In short, I don't see why it's rated 5 stars. Really not, a very bad experience. The only positive point, because there is one, is that the receptionist and the person who came at 10:30 PM were both very friendly and attentive. Hats off to them both. It's a shame the owner isn't as responsive to feedback.
