Staybridge Suites AUSTIN-ROUND ROCK by IHG

Staybridge called to tell us the elevator was not working and had no idea when it would be fixed. They canceled our reservation and we found another hotel.

Elevator was out of service. We had to take our luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast was horrible. Our room did not have a good cleaning before our stay. We found a e cigarette that was not out on the side of the bed. No towels to wash our body and the towels to dry our bodies were all stained with yellow spots. There was no sheets on the pull out bed. And when we went to ask for some they claimed they had none. We booked that room specifically because it had a pull out and couldn’t use it because it was disgusting

Awesome view of pool hospitality was the best experience I’ve ever had Letty was professional nice and more than willling to help w luggage since elevator was broken. In the morning she was an awesome hostess made my grandkids feel special if that makes sense

The room was very musty because housekeeping did not show up to empty the trash, clean or vacuum we had to tell them to come in and empty the trash after we had been out the whole day. Elevator was not working we had to use the stairs for the 5 days very unacceptable. I got two rooms the second room smelled very dirty but they did exchange for another room so that was good. Restroom is out of date as well shower head was stuck to the wall could not adjust at all. Staff was nice but would not answer the phone when we called the front desk. Would not stay with Staybridge again

Great experience... just a recommendation have sheets for the pull out beds with extra blankets

Positives: The staff are VERY friendly, parking is free, breakfast is included and was good. Negatives: The sofa in our room was dirty. The bed cover had a stain. The bathroom door did not shut all the way. The elevator was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor. We did not mind taking the stairs but we had luggage (not the carry on size) to haul. The carpet in the stairway is very dirty. The friendly staff is why we enjoyed our stay despite the negatives. Also, the walls are thin. We did not mind the noise (kids running up and down the hallway and parents yelling) but just an FYI for you that do.

Loved my stay. The gentleman he worked overnight was amazing! He helped me move rooms with my son.

Breakfast was ok. Waffles were probably the best thing. Parking was fine.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The check-in staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which set a positive tone for my stay. I also appreciated the free laundry service, a great perk for travelers. However, I encountered some challenges with getting fresh towels. It seemed challenging to get a towel per traveler and that was inconvenient. Additionally, the bar was closed during my visit, and the social hour felt lacking, as it was just a makeshift setup with drinks from an ice chest. Still relaxing to sit in the dining room. Overall, while the friendly staff and free laundry were highlights, the towel situation and bar closure were notable downsides. I hope these aspects improve for future guests.
