Overall Experience Overall, my one‑month stay at this Residence Inn in Austin was disappointing. Several basic services that are expected from an extended‑stay hotel were either inconsistent or not properly provided, which caused repeated inconvenience during my stay. 1. Water & Amenities Daily complimentary bottled water was not provided consistently. For a long‑term stay, this was inconvenient and not aligned with expectations for this brand. 2. Breakfast Service On some days, breakfast was not prepared at all without any prior notice. On several specific days, some breakfast items had an extremely unpleasant smell and taste, to the point that they were inedible. This raised concerns not only about quality but also about food safety. 3. Laundry Facilities The coin‑operated washers and dryers frequently malfunctioned. Due to these issues, I had to spend additional money and still experienced cases where laundry was not properly cleaned or dried. This is especially problematic for long‑term guests who rely heavily on these facilities. 4. Housekeeping Room cleaning was performed even though I did not request housekeeping. This was inconvenient and unexpected, especially when personal belongings were left in the room. 5. Kitchenware & Supplies Kitchen utensils and dishware were not adequately stocked for an extended‑stay room. Basic items were missing, making it difficult to use the kitchen as intended. 6. Bathroom Supplies Extra toilet paper was not provided. I was given only three rolls of toilet paper for an entire month, which is clearly insufficient. 7. Power Outage & Communication There was a sudden power outage during my stay, which caused significant disruption to my work. There was no communication or notice about the outage or information on when power would be restored. This lack of communication was very frustrating, especially for guests working remotely. [Final Comment] While the staff was generally polite, the repeated service and facility issues significantly impacted my long‑term stay. For a Residence Inn designed for extended stays, consistency in basic amenities, cleanliness, communication, and facility maintenance needs substantial improvement.

Great location. Room was nice and clean. Had a basketball court which was awesome for me. And the receptionist Latisha was excellent and very helpful. Will definitely recommend.

Good size room with a fireplace we couldn't figure out. The decor had a dated style but it's ok not bad but not great. The parking lot is very dark at night and feels a little sketchy but it's not bad.

Was a fairly limited breakfast, but did offer heated options of eggs, sausage and potatoes, along with oatmeal, cold cereals, yogurt and toast. Fresh fruits also offered. Room beginning to show its age with the carpeting and cushion on sofa bed, but we enjoyed the nice sized room, coffee in room, table, work surface, etc. Very comfortable bed and pillows. A/C seemed rather cool in breakfast area, but we're not used to Texas humidity either ..lol.

Rooms were clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. I would stay again .

Rooms are clean and maintained good but pretty old and TV is really very old they should update all smart TV. Instead of old soaps for hand wash it’s better if they change soap bars to hand wash liquid. Towels are clean and dry. I felt hotels are following 15 to 20 yrs old style and new generation likes new changes in the hotel.

It’s convenient but not a Marriott I would say. Old appliances, cabinets. The cabinets are stuck and won’t open, the refrigerator is so loud and made weird noises thru out, I always felt someone is knocking but it was refrigerator. It also stated leaking water all over. The housekeeping is 3 days once and they give only 2 towels and a tiny had soup. Had to ask soup and towel often. The coffee was horrible. Probably the worst in a Marriott. Overall decent stay but didn’t feel like a Marriott.

Stayed for Thanksgiving week and it was convenient to the family we were visiting.
