Days Inn by Wyndham Round Rock

Front desk was very helpful and kind will recommend to anyone in the area

we are staying in your hotel from May 15 until May 22. The first day we came in the air conditioner cool mode noise like construction site. We only use fan mode until it was really hot of the last night, but the noise made us sleepless the whole night. I called your front desk. It was sold out until I insist to change room. When he called back it was 1 hour later, we were too late (almost midnight) to change it. By the way, the cleaning service is really bad, no coffee bag, no face towel, no shampoo. That made us unpleasant during the stay,

Took me a while to find because it has changed to a Days Inn and the driveway isn’t very well lit. Other than that, everything was just fine

The room was spacious and had newer fixtures and a comfortable bed. That said, the carpet was ancient and had a big blood stain next to the bathroom and the shower faucet mechanism that makes the water divert to the shower head was broken and nearly impossible to get to work at all. That was extremely frustrating. If it had been summer, it would have been even more frustrating. The breakfast was decent as they had premade breakfast sandwiches, fruit and yogurt that were pretty good. But, two out of the three days I stayed they were no yogurts in the fridge. If I was to come back to stay in Round Rock again, I would pay the extra $20-30 and stay at a nicer place.

The weather stripping on the door needs to be replaced. The establishment is old and needs to be replenished and upgraded. Air is very dingy. Nice TV though. Carpet needs replaced.

Filthy and smelly. I'd rather sleep in the car. I don't know what I was thinking trying to save money

There was no working ice machine so we had to buy a bag of ice at a convenience store to use in our room.
