Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Round Rock

I most certainly will stay here every time I am in the Austin, Texas area! If you read other reviews, you will understand why they are so high. This hotel also deserves a four star rating!

The breakfast was very limited. The sink was held on by caulk. There were stains on the cushions in the windows, and the carpet was torn and coming up in the hallway.

The breakfast was average. Nothing special. The room was clean, but outdated and small. It was cheaper and just ok.

I was in a non-smoking room and the first thing i noticed when i walked in the room was the smell of smoke... it was faint but noticeable. I almost asked for another room but decided, against it because i checked late evening and it looked like it might be full. The next thing that was disturbing was the carpet in the hallway. It was torn, ragged and wrinkled which could have been a hazard. The 3rd thing i noticed in the hallway was a rancid odor. It was almost nauseating.

This facility was clean and inviting. The front office staff at the hotel was the best! I would definitely stay here again.

The room carpet and furniture was disgustingly dirty. The sofas throughout the hotel were stained and dirty. The carpet in the rooms and hallways were extremely dirty. The room had very poor quality bedding. I’m 51 years old and has traveled and been in many hotel this was by far the most disgusting. This place needs a really good deep cleaning.

Location and price worked for what we needed… could have been a little cleaner and monitored, smelled like we were neighbors of Cheech and Chong.

The rooms are always clean & the staff is always friendly & pleasant to talk to. Whenever given a choice of where to stay, I always choose Microtel bc I KNOW it's going to be a peaceful, pleasant experience. I never remember to get her name but the lady who works the front desk has the absolutely best personality!!
