Scandic Rovaniemi City Reviews

A very convenient location to the city centre, many restaurant selections around and easy to go to Santa Claus Village as well as the airport.

The location is smack right in the heart of town Center. There is a mall opposite, a Chinese restaurant beside and a walking 5 min to Santa town office. Not to mention bus stop is just 1 min walk. There is no better place to be sleeping in rovaniemi. Part of the Europe regulation; there are no disposal amenities . So if you want a room slipper, better bring your own else you will be walking in cold floor. Breakfast is sufficient. Nothing fancy, but above the average hotel with choice of balls, cold cuts, fruit and pastries .  Didn’t manage to see the gym nor sauna as was busy out looking at Santa’s creation.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. There's a mall and a large supermarket directly across the street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The room is a bit small, but very neat and clean. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel; Scandic hotels always have an amazing and delicious breakfast spread!

Hotel location is superb with shopping mall Just across. Room do not have phone to contact the reception and there is no kettle. Would have to pay 10 euro to rent a kettle which is kind of ridiculous. There is also no sign in the room informing you that tap water is safe to drink.

The hotel was conveniently located in the city center, a 15-minute walk from Rovaniemi Station, with restaurants, supermarkets, and car rental offices nearby. There was even a Chinese-run Japanese restaurant on the first floor of the supermarket directly across the street. The sauna amenities were basic, but it was still a pleasant experience.

Great location, comfortable waiting area, and parking available. There's a convenience store, mall, and supermarket nearby, which is really handy. The breakfast has a good variety, and the room was clean.

The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful.

The hotel is located in the city center. Close to shopping malls and supermarkets. Nice breakfast and people. It's just 10mins walk to Arktikum Park where you have high chances of seeing the northern lights when the weather are clear.

Limited check in counter, but staff is patient and helpful.  Not really near central station, needs to take taxi with large luggage Rental car Hertz is next door, if you want quick car rent.  Simple breakfast, will be good to have some Asian foods.  Overall everything is perfect.

Great location. There is a shopping center in front of the hotel and easy to access to the tourist company. And also the breakfast is great.

The hotel's decor and design are truly beautiful. It's conveniently located near a mall, department store, and museum, and close to meeting points if you're attending an event. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Not bad and fast response in email

Location and cleanliness was great. However its pathetic and abysmal service. They charge u for a hot water kettle lol. And the staff bladt TV on high volume which ruins your sleep. The hotel staff is incompetent to deal with basic issues of noise, they promise you a refund but deny it saying its denied because I booked via 3rd party. They strategically offer me a voucher which will be useless as its my last day in RVN
