The place is absolutely beautiful, only few steps from Ounasvaara Ski Resort. The Chalet was really good and cosy with amazing views from the windows and balcony. Our private Chalet had a second bedroom which we didn’t use as my daughter and myself preferred the first floor. We loved having our own sauna in the bathroom, great addition to relax and we enjoyed it sooo much! Breakfast was excellent with great selection, we loved the waffle maker! Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location is excellent, not far from the airport, city centre, and Santa Claus Village. Overall, perfect Chalet, we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time!

This hotel is listed on Ctrip as being cleaned daily, but it actually costs 35 euros to be cleaned once. Please note

The whole hotel has a very good environment. There are ski resorts nearby and a sauna by the river. I saw many people swimming by the river and taking a sauna. It was very comfortable! The room is okay, but not big. The breakfast in the hotel is rich and delicious!

The environment is very good, but it is a bit far from the city center and you have to take a taxi to get there. There is a supermarket for supplies in about 20 minutes' walk. The chalet is close to the ski slopes, perfect for those who want to ski for hours with ease. The restaurant provides a simple breakfast, which is the same every day, so the small kitchen in the wooden house is very important. You can cook some simple meals by yourself with basic utensils😙 Finally, we also successfully chased the Northern Lights by the lake

🚗 Transportation: The only disadvantage is that it is really far and you can only take a taxi to go anywhere. There is a hotel bus in the morning but I missed it. Others are very good

This beautiful chalet was a perfect addition to our romantic getaway in Lapland. The chalet was equipped with everything needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and distance beautiful chalets was perfect giving enough space for privacy. The breakfast area was great as well. We never eat at the restaurant due to bringing our own food in. The customer service provided by the bar was excellent and they make a great hot chocolate.

Our first trip to Lapland and this was a fantastic place to stay. The food in the restaurant was a little repetitive but was of very good quality so it was not an issue. Really good spot for sledging and it is out of the way just enough but still close enough for a short cab ride to the town in Rovaniemi.

The accommodation is clean and warm. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage as a family of 5 including 1 infant. The stairs are extremely steep to the first floor and I didn’t trust my 8 & 6 year old to sleep up there as my little boy fell down within minutes of arriving. We had no cot in the room when we arrived for our 10 month old. We headed down tor reception to request one to which I was told we would have to wait until tomorrow! I couldn’t believe it. I spent the first night after an extremely early start sleeping with our baby in the bed. I was really disappointed and for the money we paid (7.5k for 3 nights) I would expect better. Food was edible but nothing special. Regardless of this rovaniemi and Lapland itself is absolutely magical and we still had an amazing time. I would be extremely wary of booking this accommodation though if you are travelling with infants.

We stayed for 3 nights over new year and had a fabulous time. This was our second visit to Lapland, we love it! Check in was very poor, we arrived around lunch time and check in is at 4, the lady said our room wasn’t ready but to return in a couple of hours and it might be, if so we could check in early. We did this but someone else was on reception by this point and he made everyone wait until 3.30-4 to check in despite the room keys all being lined up behind him. When we only had a short space of time there we wanted to get in the room and get wrapped up in all our layers and out into the snow asap! We stayed in chalet 74 which was next to the lake, it was perfect, lots of space, very warm, comfy beds. There is a lovely area next to the lake, this is a sauna and is an extra cost, we didn’t use it but there is a little cabin which sells drinks, a teepee with a fire lit and an inside seating area which looked over the lake. We enjoyed sitting here with a drink. Breakfast was good. We only ate off the snack menu once, very limited menu but burger was good. Buffet dinner was very expensive and was going to cost £150 for 2 adults and 2 kids so we decided against this. We got taxi’s into Rovaniemi and to Santa Claus village, very easy via an app. Roughly 10mins to Rovaniemi and 15 to SCV. It was very cold when we were there and even the locals were struggling with -35 the day we left. Foot and hand warmers are a must. We had frozen hair and eyelashes! We were in the middle of nowhere last time so it was good to be closer to amenities this time. Snowman World was much better than we expected, SCV very expensive in general. We did all the usual activities on our previous trip on a much less commercial basis so didn’t need to do any of this at SCV. Ranua Zoo was a nice day out, the main animals weren’t out but they are very focussed on animal welfare. I would visit Lapland every year if I could!!

Package trip with TUI which was very well organised. The experience of Lapland is something you could not imagine. Totally magical. The Christmas cottages are very warm and clean. Adequate for the time you spend inside. The restaurant is authentic, and a little sparse, but adds to the experience. The food is adequate but don't expect a lavish gala evening meal - the turkey and beef are tinned. You are better off booking half board as it's very expensive to pay for evening meal when you get there, aprox 34 euros for an adult and aprox 23 euros for a child - massive rip off!

Very bad & rude & unhelpful customer service from the check in moment. No one even smiles here! I am checking out & changing the hotel. Very dull experience in this hotel. My kids felt very bad throughout our stay . U can go if you are looking for a basic bed to sleep & spend the night but nothing else about the place. My kids needed omelette for breakfast as we don’t eat any pork, it isn’t only that they refused though I mentioned I can pay it extra but the careless & rude behavior of the waiters was very ****** ! How come u don’t eat pork ! U don’t find toilet paper in room u have to make ur way in snow to reception to get it . We asked for extra pillows as their pillow is almost no pillow extremely thin & I told receptionist I have a disk in my neck, again reply was unbelievable careless . End result very extremely bad frustrating customer service .

So the place is pretty nice, we had a chalet for 6 person with sauna which are in a cute little red house. However, the room was noisy as we heard the road, the beds upstairs were noisy and not that comfortable, the shower was hard to use. The sauna was good. There was a lot of people at breakfast, but the breakfast itself was good. The bathroom needs a makeover.

Stayed in room 24 which is close to Reception. Our chalet was warm, cosy and super clean. The raised beds with the ladder were a big hit with our boys. Great breakfast and dinner options. Tobagoons are available for kids to play with on-site. Great location- only 10 minutes to Santa Village, Santa Park and the Airport. Would definitely recommend!

I have just returned from this property after spending 4 nights on a Tui package and felt the need to write a review as some of the reviews I read before we went weren't great and I was quite apprehensive about it - especially with the cost of the holiday but, I really don't have many negative things to say.... The trip was very well organised by Tui and the properties were as expected so I'm surprised at how 'horrifed' some people were. The chalets are very cute and cosy - the heating is so good we had to turn the radiators off at night. Yes it is basic but it is clean, well appointed and met our needs perfectly. There is a small kitchen area with a fridge, 2 plate hob, microwave, plates, bowls, cups, glasses and cutlery along with a kettle and a coffee maker. The bathroom is more like a wet room - the water does flood out of the shower unit when you are using it but, as soon as you turn the shower off, it flows back down the drain so, don't put towel or clothes on the floor and it's fine! The sauna is also in the bathroom. The kids bedroom area is up quite a steep set of ladders and probably only comfortable for smaller kids (my nephew is 6 and it was fine) as the ceiling is quite low but he thought it was great - there is a safety gate at the top of the steps to lock too so quite safe up there. The other beds were two singles (although wider than UK singles) and this is where the only negative comes in - they weren't entirely comfortable and the pillows were awful... very flat and you only get one each - maybe ask at reception for more and that might make a difference??? The breakfast included was brilliant and not sure how some people claim they couldn't find anything to eat!? It is buffet style and opens at 7.30am every day. Cereals, various breads, croissants, toast, cakes, biscuits, yoghurt, fruit, various jams/chocolate spread etc. Decent cheese/meat cold selection and the hot food was constantly topped up and always warm - bacon, scrambled egg, little weiner sausages, beans, potatoes - it was all delicious and can't fault anything (certainly not choice or quantity) The area just outside the hotel is great for kids to sledge and there are many sledges around that you can just pick up and use. The location is beautiful and there is a ski resort across the bridge but, no public transport really so taxis needed if you are going anywhere and they are quite expensive (although quick, efficient and clean) and reception are happy to book them for you - Uber has also recently started there and you can use your normal UK app too. There is a small supermarket around 20 min walk away. Taxi to city centre cost around 20 Euros one way and Santa Claus Village around 35 - 40 Euros depending on the day and time I think..... All of the staff were really nice and friendly and there is a snack menu at the bar which consists of burgers/fries/toasties etc and, there is a buffet dinner every night (not sure of the cost as we didn't eat dinn
