The hotel is very exquisite, whether it is facilities, services, dining, etc., they are all very attentive, and the details are very good! The decoration style of the room is very consistent with my aesthetics, and the bedding and lamps are inspiring. I will recommend it to more friends. This hotel exceeded expectations. Lovely welcome , and a hot drink offered whilst we waited for our room ahead of when we should have had it. The hotel is clean, contemporary and you can tell how well it is looked after. Our room was immaculate with a lovely shower room, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. We had a lovely little balcony too with a table and chairs. The pool area is immaculate and the heated pool inviting. We borrowed cycles for the day too at no extra cost. A 15 minute quiet walk into gorgeous Rovinj with its wealth of restaurants and bars - just beautiful. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely small, friendly hotel with quiet lounge areas to enjoy. Staff extremely helpful. Close to beach and a nice 25 minute walk into town. First hotel we’ve been to that did not provide coffee tea facilities in the room which was very disappointing. Only tea and water available in the breakfast area during afternoon/evening. No milk provided. Coffee machine sadly unavailable during the afternoon/evening.

We had an amazing two-day stay at this beautiful and tranquil hotel. The experience started with a fantastic breakfast that included everything you could possibly want. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated and meticulously clean. Our room was cozy, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the beach, and bikes are available if you want to explore more of the coastline. The city center is also within walking distance, about 30 minutes away. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rovinj!

Small boutique hotel with c20 rooms, a pool, and the best breakfast we had on our trip. We loved our stay here, comfortable stylish rooms, great shower, quiet but effective air con, and a lovely treat as it was my partner’s birthday. It’s a bit further out of town, but we didn’t mind the 25 min walk in and taxis are available if you’re too tired to head back. Snacks available through the day - such as home made biscuits or cake - not loads but nice if you get peckish. Great cold water too, which was really refreshing in the heat.

We made the right decision to take our first trip to Croatia, the right decision to visit Istria, the right decision to stay in Rovinj & absolutely hit the bullseye with Residence Vaal. This is an absolute gem of a property & Denis, Aleksandra and their team, particularly Laura & Aleksandar, could not have done more to make our trip a thoroughly enjoyable one, & to ensure that we want to hurry back. Residence Vaal is extremely comfortable, well equipped and almost surgically clean. The setting, slightly away from the centre of town is peaceful, & it's ideally placed for Cuvi beach. The breakfasts are fresh, varied and generous, and offer a great selection with home-baked daily delicacies. The pool area is an oasis of peace, with added hydromassage! All these tangible attributes are practically perfect, but what really made our trip was the extremely friendly, uber helpful and above-and-beyond service. I cannot recommend Residence Vaal highly enough!
