Well, where do i start ! Firstly, I was staying here with my husband for my birthday and the pub with guest rooms was situated in an excellent position right in the centre of town. although we didnt stay here with our 4 dogs, we are obviously dog lovers and were happy that the pub was dog friendly and had its own resident dog. the staff were very friendly on our arrival. From then on, everything went downhill. Room 2 was a good size but the bathroom was TINY with black mould around the minute shower cubicle. The metal bed creaked all night long every time we turned over. We went out to eat on Saturday night & returned to the pub at 10.15pm with the thought of having a drink in the bar before retiring to our room. The pub was in complete darkness with the resident dog barking its tits off in the window. ALL NIGHT LONG that dog barked, On & on, I looked at my clock at 3am & it was still barking. Finally waking extremely sleep deprived on Sunday morning (my actual birthday) our day was ruined & rather than staying in Cirencester for the morning, we couldnt wait to pack our bags & drive home. My birthday was spent in bed catching up on sleep.
