We stayed at Woodland Gardens on the weekend of the 2/01/26. We booked the Loerie Chalet as it was just two of us and our furbaby,Alpha. The service was excellent. John and Lorraine welcomed us. Alpha loved it as he had his own fenced up garden where he could explore. There are dogs,cats,pigs,goats and chickens on the premises. It is a peaceful place with lots of walking trails for your furbabies. It is self-catering with braai facilities and a swimming pool. The chalets are not close to each other. My family and my furbabies had a relaxing stay at Woodlands Gardens which was so tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The accomodation was neat and tidy and had everything you would need. The garden was spacious and my furbabies had a ball of a time.

Please - Do not visit this establishment. The marketing on Bookings (and online generally) must be from a LONG time ago - Because the place is creaky, dusty, cobweb ridden and dilapadated. The front door locked us in and we had to open it through the patio door. We woke up on our second morning to flies all over the room and all the food was put away into the fridge. The Ibis Room has a bathtub, but it is outside and separate from the room - And it really as filthy. Cobwebs, dust and debris. When raised with the owners/managers and a request for refund was made for the R900 of a night, it was met with swift rejection and no offer of remediation. I made a unilateral decision for my Partner and I to check-out and go to a proper establishment, which cost R1500 extra. This place is just. not. worth. it. Save your money and peace of mind.

Wonderful place to take the fur babies. Lovely garden and one of the very few places where there's a boma. It was so nice, we are going back again this weekend!
