A cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!

I stayed here before and after the Fukui Sakura Marathon. The start and finish points are very close. It's easy to find from the station and it's only a short walk away. The room was clean, and although the bathroom and toilet are old, they were well maintained and clean.

It's cheap and there's a paid affiliated parking lot, which is convenient.
There are restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat.

The amenities were a buffet, so it felt like a girls' trip lol. The morning buffet was Fujita-style, and both the Japanese and Western food were delicious. Along with the Chinese food for dinner, it was the perfect base for lodging to start your trip in Fukui.

A decent hotel with a good location. Fukui Castle Park is right outside the window. There is also a children's playground. The children played for a long time in the snow. I went to Fukui on a solo trip. When I arrived at the hotel, tired from all the walking, I found it to be more beautiful and relaxing than I expected. Even though I was alone, I felt like I was in a twin room. The breakfast buffet was luxurious with a wide variety of local cuisine, and there were many businessmen so I didn't feel uncomfortable even if I was alone. There was also a counter-like seat for one person. There are many amenities, and you can choose whatever you like next to the front desk. The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff were all friendly. There was a two-line telephone on the first floor that could be used to call a taxi, which could be used for sightseeing the next day.
