Beware if booking through **********. I booked this place 1 year 2 months beforehand for a 4-night stay. Five days before my stay, I receive an email saying the place is no longer available. If course this was for a multiple day local event and everything in the area is now twice the cost. Book elsewhere.

I booked and pre-paid for a room ($182) for Saturday June 26. The Amber House messaged me on Friday June 25 to cancel my booking as they had had a fire. I'm very sympathetic to the fire as I'm sure that is awful to deal with but they have not refunded my booking nor have I been able to contact anyone to talk to them - I've emailed & messaged them back (immediately after they messaged me) and called multiple times. I'm not sure how else to get a hold of them but I would like my money back for a room that I was not able to use! This is really frustrating as we come into Sac often and were excited to try them out as our new weekend getaway.
