It's a friendly guest house at the old building run by family. The house is very cozy and rooms spacious with many old details and beautiful wooden windows. The whole house is very clean. They even clean wheels of your suitcase before entering. You can eat a nice breakfast at the garden. They also helped to washed my family clothes for free. There are parking places for couple of cars. Historic town is actually around you and old center just some steps away. Seems that many guests stay only one night but it's worth to stay two nights for whole exploration, visit of historic Yörük village, relaxing at old hammam etc.

What a wonderful historic experience. This three hundred year old Ottoman style building converted to a boutique hotel is an easy stroll to the old town Safranbolu shopping district, restaurants and museums. This UNISCO building has been fully modernized with bathrooms and heating. Our bed was comfortable and we had instant heat in the shower. The furnishings and rooms stayed true to the Ottoman design with a long bench couch along the wall and intricate wood work on the floors, cabinets along the walls and ceiling. I loved the detail in the molding and the rose carvings in the ceiling. All floors were covered with wonderful Turkish rugs. Our host, Özlem, provides the most delightful local cuisine for breakfast much of which has been prepared and sourced locally. She is also a vibrant person that laughs easily and loves to visit with us. We left early and she prepared a sack breakfast for us as we traveled down the road. There are many motels in the area but this one has secure parking for our bicycle. She even has an area to securely park three vehicles, a benefit in this town. Many hotels in Safranbolu do not appear to have even street parking.
