We spent four wonderful days and three nights at Camilca Konak Carsi and it was truly a memorable experience. This charming family-run guesthouse is hosted by a warm and incredibly kind lady who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The wooden architecture of the house is beautifully unique, evoking us travelling through the time to relive the sights of the past. Our room was spacious, spotless, and cozy. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the homemade Turkish breakfast served each morning—fresh, delicious, and made with love. It added such a personal and comforting touch to our mornings. What truly moved us was the host’s generosity. On our first night, we arrived by taxi without any local currency, and she kindly paid the fare for us without hesitation. Her hospitality and kindness left a lasting impression on us. If we ever return to this enchanting little town, we will absolutely stay at Camilca Konak Carsi again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a warm, authentic, and unforgettable experience. Last but not least, the cheese, jams serving with breads in the breakfast are hand made by her own. These all are the super delicious you must love them.

Warm homestay, 150 years of traditional architecture, the most special of which is the bunker-style restaurant. The polite owner and his wife, meeting our needs in life, we have a pleasant conversation with translation software. It feels like living in my own home, but unfortunately we only arranged a one-night stay. The quiet and comfortable accommodation is worth staying for a few more days. Thanks to the owner for sending us to the station for a ride.

Located in the old town, easy to walk for sightseeing! The boss is enthusiastic, the two-person room is small, the triple room is the right size, there is no elevator, you can experience one night!

His house is 3 stories high, with a restaurant and public space on the first floor, 3 rooms on the second floor, and 3 rooms on the third floor. We stayed in the rightmost room in the second picture, which is the view room I like. This room has the best sunlight and scenery, but the bathroom is outside, which is the leftmost position in the second picture. There is a room in the middle, and that room has its own toilet. The advantage of this room is that it is beautiful, and the disadvantage is that you have to go out to the toilet. In addition, as far as I can see, there is no air conditioning in the room, and there is a heater in the cabinet. So it should be carefully considered in very hot or very cold seasons. As for this homestay, the operator is a family of three. The male owner is responsible for communication and the female owner is responsible for cooking. We stayed for two nights and the female owner only said one sentence to us, telling us that breakfast would be at 9 o'clock the next day. Maybe she was shy? ? The male owner does not speak English and can't even understand bread, but he can use the mobile phone translation app to communicate with us very actively. The breakfast is very good. Although there is no meat, it can be seen that the boss and his wife have spent a lot of time on it, as evidenced by the pictures. The delicious breakfast here more or less soothed my angry experience (mentioned below). The overall atmosphere is family-friendly. News broadcasts are played during breakfast. When we came back in the evening, we saw the family of three eating and watching cartoons for their five-year-old son. The downside is that something happened that had nothing to do with the accommodation: the owner recommended us to see the glass platform and caves on the nearby mountain on the first day of our arrival, and called a taxi driver he knew. However, the owner refused to tell us the price and asked the driver to tell us. The driver drove quite far before telling us the price, which was about 1,000 lira for a 2-hour package (without meter). However, the first attraction was not open at all due to power outages, and we only stayed at the second attraction for 10 minutes. From getting on the taxi to getting off the taxi, it took less than an hour in total, and the driver finally insisted on charging 1,000 lira. Later, when I returned to the homestay, I told the owner about this matter, and he also checked with the driver that these things did happen. He said that the driver charged a high price, and the local travel agency only charged 60 euros including car guide and meals, and he couldn't let his guests be treated like this. He must talk to the driver about this matter again and give me a reply, but he didn't mention it again until the moment of check-out. I don't know if there was any collusion between them.
