I stayed for one night after hearing that the breakfast was delicious. From the hotel's exterior to the interior design, I was impressed by its artistic quality. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was also well-maintained. The breakfast was a Japanese home-style meal, and it was incredibly luxurious, exceeding my expectations. Personally, the coffee I had at the small bar inside the hotel was delicious. In particular, I had the opportunity to chat with the hotel staff while drinking coffee, and I was able to get some useful information, such as recommendations for a great sake specialty shop. I was able to create wonderful memories and experiences. Thank you.

The location is great, but... the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. It was the most spacious room I’ve ever stayed in at a hotel in Japan, and the location was fantastic as famous tourist attractions were all within a 10-minute walk. If I visit again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in Japan for 4 nights, and perhaps because it is located in the city center, the room was small. I think my expectations for Ryokan Akebono were too high. Rather than it being Ryokan Akebono's fault, it seems relatively lacking because other places were so excellent. The small room was an issue, as was the inconvenience regarding the use of the hot springs, and the breakfast seemed a bit lacking compared to other places.

The room was nice and bicycle rental service was available! The front desk staff were incredibly kind, so I had a great time. If there were rooms available on my available dates, I would have stayed for several nights. The hot springs have different times for men and women.

The bathroom was also nice. There was a bathtub in each room, so it was good for relieving fatigue. The coffee the owner made was delicious, and all the items, including the coffee cups, were top-notch. Thank you so much, owner.

It is an old house with history. It is very artistically decorated and filled with many paintings and calligraphy. The location is some distance from Saga Station, and a taxi from the JR station costs about 1,000 yen. If you walk, it takes about 20 minutes and you will pass through China Town. There are many restaurants and coffee shops on the road. Diagonally across from the hotel is Tamaya (a long-established department store in Saga), but this road is extremely quiet and the Japanese-style rooms have a very nice mood. But the area is really too small. After making the bed at night, there is basically no place to stand. On the first day of check-in, the hotel may have many guests, but something "bad" happened. First, the toilet in the bathroom was not wiped clean. The waiter came to apologize sincerely and moved us to another room. Then we went downstairs for dinner, but when we came up, they should have made the bed while we were dining, but maybe there was not enough service staff. , the bed was not made. But fortunately they were all resolved in time. The proprietress of the hotel is very elegant. There is a service staff at the front desk who is very good in Chinese, Japanese and English. There is no problem in communication. We stayed for two consecutive days, and they specially prepared different contents for dinner so as not to eat the same thing two days. This is very thoughtful. If you come to Saga and want to try a quiet family hotel, but don’t have time to go to the mountains in the countryside, then this one is highly recommended.

The hotel is between JR Saga Station and Saga Library Art Museum. The location is relatively quiet. Although the hotel is small, the facilities are quite complete. There are separate rooms for bathing, but men and women have to bathe at different times. The overall decoration style of the hotel is very artistic. There are four floors in total, and each floor is full of oil paintings. It has an artistic atmosphere and is a very good experience!
