It is clean, safe, and with friendly and helpful staff. Near the beach, and dinning spots. It is also quiet at night, and with beautiful view of the sea.

The staff were very welcomeing. This is a wondy corner of the world, but well worth a visit. The rooms were adequate, but the furniture was a bit dated. we really could not complain given the democratic prices. We even had a beautiful balcony with a view of the beaches.

Very old hotel in a desperate need of renovation. Terrible bed, I had to go underneath it and fix its legs because they weren’t straight.

The property is in need of an update. The outside is run down. Furniture, sinks, appliances are very old and outdated. It appeared to be clean, but there was an uncomfortable odor present.
The room door and balcony windows don’t seal well. You hear people walking by including their conversations.
Check in and out was easy and quick. The hotel is located overlooking a cliff.

Staff are very nice and breakfast was pretty good value at 6 euro. Room was very clean and shower was a new one and very nice. Bed was comfortable enough. However there was a musty smell in my room so I opened the window to air the place and was bitten alive by mosquitos for a few nights. I slept poorly because of this and left after 6 nights had booked for 8 nights. Is cheap and cheerful but for me not a place to stay for a long trip. Next time I visit Sagres I will pay a bit extra for a more comfy setting. It's well situated.

Love this place. Small town charm with good restaurants only a block or two away. Safe and quiet. Feels like a California beach town circa 1965. Hotel is well maintained and rooms have great views.

Musty smell in apartment so had to open windows to air the place. Since then have been attacked nightly by mosquitos and have been eaten alive. As a result have slept poorly. Have paid for 8 nights but checking out after 6 nights. Can't spend any longer here. They did offer me a voucher for the 2 nights but no thanks. Place is clean and staff are nice. But pillows are very lumpy and place needs updating badly. Lesson learned you get what you pay for quality wise.
