Camping Naturist Castillon de Provence

Very disappointing as a campsite. No activities, catering establishments are hardly open, sanitary facilities without toilet paper. I left earlier than I intended, and despite the promise that I would receive the overpayment back within 48 hours, I have not received anything.

A magical moment in the middle of nature, not overcrowded, in peace, finally a dream that I did not expect, I did not even suspect that it could still exist. you don't have to come to party every night but there's something for everyone and a campsite like this shouldn't still have many left in FRANCE. Thanks to FABIEN for his dedication and to this entire small team, friendly and smiling, it's so rare these days.

Fantastic campsite, beautiful grounds, a good, cooperative manager who speaks very good English. It's a shame that the current owner no longer organizes anything for youth after the takeover. The campsite has been taken over again, hopefully the animation will return. The cleaning of the sanitary facilities could receive a little more attention. Restaurant was closed between 11:30 am and 6:00 pm, missed opportunity. Understand that we are working hard to be open all day for next year. The campsite was sold again halfway through the holiday, which caused some unrest, especially in connection with the uncertainty about whether or not it will be naturist next year. We have therefore taken an option for next year with reservations. Annual performances by “De Castillon Band” are really great fun.

I'm not used to writing reviews on the internet because there is everything. But believe me I can't let that happen, go spend your money somewhere other than this place. It is not a campsite but rather a camping area. No activities are offered. Incompetent and absent manager, he gives himself a style but really he has nothing to do in this position. Very very expensive prices compared to what is offered on the campsite. The pool is tiny and there are no umbrellas on the beaches. Restaurant managed by incompetent people: an hour's wait to be served when there are only 10 seats per service is very expensive and not good. Fried mussels 25 euros per person and they are not even cooked. The water in the showers is scalding and the manager makes fun of it royally. The setting and the view are magnificent and the hike to the lake with naturist beach and canoe are the positive point. “Camping” not suitable for families, your children will be royally bored there. In short, it's expensive, it's not good and we're seriously bored, so it's an Epahd!

On the campsite's website everything tempts you but when you arrive there you realize that in reality there is no entertainment, very few services sign of a 3 star, an unheated swimming pool, a padlocked sauna because of charges. , aging sports and leisure facilities, the absence of staff apart from the manager and the restaurant. Let's talk about the restaurant, a deplorable welcome and service provided by the manager and only waitress who is very unpleasant, always complaining and making comments! Very little choice and very long service, no a**osphere or musical entertainment except when certain Dutch residents come with their musical instruments, but they are not greeted with a smile by the manager who only has one I want to close the restaurant, quite the contrary. Fortunately the friendly chef makes good food. The only interest of this campsite is the magnificent location and the lake which nevertheless remains difficult to access because it takes 30 minutes to walk down a steep path, without forgetting that the return is much more difficult, especially with a paddle on your back... If despite all that you want to rest, the place is very quiet!

An excellent campsite for rest in June of course. Superb landscape facing the campsite. Allow 30 minutes by car from the campsite to Castelane on a small winding road. Very nice home. We will come back !

Magnificent naturist destination for people who love peace and quiet, nature, exceptional views (on the lake among others), spacious, well-maintained location, beautiful swimming pool, superb hike to the lake with its naturist beach (deckchair and canoe available), staff very attentive, great restaurant, excellent value for money.
