We arrived without realising that we hadn't actually specified a ground floor room. Karen on reception was really helpful, and along with her colleague soon got us sorted. Then we found we'd got a serious mechanical issue with our car. Karen gave us the phone number for the nearest dealership before we had found it. Above and beyond customer service. We couldn't fault it. Oh, and the room was of the usual premier standard: spotless with a comfy bed and a cracking shower!

We had a one night stop over on our way to Penrith. The room was clean although a little dated compared to some of the other Premier Inn hotels we stay in. Reception staff were friendly. We paid for breakfast which was ok but could have been better as food was a little cold. Considering it’s next to a busy road we didn’t hear anything.

Had a great stay here. Rooms clean, staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Booked the meal deal which was also great value for money giving 2 courses a drink and breakfast. Thanks again will definitely use this hotel again

Perfect stop over when I used here for a wedding I recently went to, rooms are clean, fresh and look great, plus rooms are better option just for the fridge alone so no more warm drinks. Reception team are really friendly and soo helpful, couldn’t fault a thing.

The hotel is very, very close to M6 J42. To those who know Premier Inns this is well up to the usual standard. To those who are unfamiliar with Premier Inns, This will give you avery good first experience. It is attached to a Beefeater pub. This is one of theirbranded pubs and does very good chips. Wine in such extablishment is always good value for money. So give youreslf enough time in the morning to take full advantage of the cooked breakfast this is a meal which will set you up for the day. You can skip lunch. that meal becomes totally unnecessary.

Unfortunately, having stayed at many Premier Inns and having consistently had great stays, this was not one of them. We had to move rooms at 2am having not slept since 11pm due to noise from the room below (TV/voices). We were moved to a room on the ground floor but were then woken up at 6.30am by a family above us with children running around and stamping. The room we were moved to only had one large towel and one small hand towel - we were there as a couple so one of us got dried after showering on a small hand towel which was thread bare at the bottom and had holes in. There were four bottles in the shower and all of them were hair conditioner so we couldn’t even have a proper shower after not sleeping. This is far from what I’ve experienced of Premier Inns in the past, and ruined the first day of our anniversary weekend. It was far from a ‘Good Night’s sleep’.

Checked in at 2:30pm. A little early. Advised to book restaurant for evening meal and so we did. Booked for 7pm via hotel reception. Room lovely (premier room). Attended restaurant at the time of the booking but no record of this? No apology either. Restaurant ok and service good. Bit tired on the decor.

Had a great one night stay here. Staff at the hotel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and the room was superb. Plenty of extra pillows and another duvet. The heating controls worked and the window actually opened, which was great. The shower was amazing- very powerful and refreshing. Will absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here overnight whilst on our way south, arriving early evening after a journey in quite bad weather conditions. Karen at the reception desk could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble even though she had been manning the desk on her own for most of the day. We had some problems with the air conditioning in the room, and whilst we were having dinner, Karen herself went upstairs to fix it. On returning from dinner, Karen was again pleasant and cheerful and assured us that she would be more than happy to help if we experienced any further problems. With such a welcome from Karen, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The room itself was comfortable and functional, as you would expect from a Premier Inn.
