Le Saint Denis

Wonderful hotel in St Denis. The front desk staff were super helpful and the Sunset Lounge was a great place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful evening. There is everything you could want within the local area with lots of interesting architecture and high end shops.

Very nice hotel. Amenities are top-notch, and service at reception was great. Had a 2-hour power failure after check-in in but overall service was good. Do not expect concierge service, it does not exist in Reunion Island. The breakfast was excellent. One the best cappuccinos I ever had at the coffee bar. Very well located in Saint-Denis, will remain my preferred hotel there in the future. A bit on the high side price-wise. Very comfortable bed and rooms are sound proof which is very important in city. Modern bathroom. Apparently, the hotel had just been renovated.

I recently had a disappointing encounter with the restaurant manager, Leonardo, during my stay at Radisson St Denis, La Réunion. I requested an empty wine glass from his staff, who kindly provided it after completing some paperwork, which I understood to be a hotel procedure. However, my experience took a turn when Leonardo abruptly snatched the glass from my hand, asserting that I couldn’t take it to my room. Despite explaining that his own staff had given me the glass, he rudely insisted on replacing it with a plastic one, emphasizing it was part of their procedure. His tone and manner were highly disrespectful, leaving me questioning the way he handles customers. I attempted to address my concerns with the hotel’s director but was unsuccessful in reaching them. This incident has left me dissatisfied with the level of customer service and raises questions about the professionalism displayed by Leonardo. I hope this feedback contributes to improving customer experiences at Radisson St Denis.
