This hotel is in the city center near shopping. It needs renovation. It is good for a one night stay. Breakfast was included in my stay. Choices of food was minimal. Free Wi-Fi was included. The staff was very helpful.

The location is pretty good to explore the city. The bed was comfortable, and AC & wifi worked well. The room is a bit dated. The elevator was out of service. Free parking under the hotel is convenient. the Staff were friendly. There was no lighting in the halls or stairs, was weird & unsafe.

As we were totally ignorant of this place Reunion, we chose to stay 2 nights here first, which is at city centre, before we moved to higher hills in St Dennis for better overview of the city. The hotel is functional, cleanliness ok, we slept well. Neighborhood rather quiet especially at night. The front desk man during night shift is nice and tried endeavour to reply us although he spoke nearly zero English (and we know zero French except Bonjour). The lady in daytime can speak English, very helpful and equally nice friendly. We used this hotel as a base to go round the city. We stayed in early Jan 2023 and it's a long public holiday here, so only a few shops and decent restaurants or eateries opened. Everything is fine here. Recommended. But if you want to stay in a more romantic and fancy place, better go other hotels uphill of the city.

Ayant séjourné pour affaires pendant 6 nuits à l’hôtel Austral, je ne peux que vous inviter à vous y rendre les yeux fermés ! Outre un confort absolu, un parking souterrain sécurisé, et une situation idéale en ville, j’ai été émerveillé par l’accueil du personnel qui est si solaire, souriant, aimable et aux petits soins en permanence ! Très polis, bienveillants, performants, souriants, les employés de cet hôtel sont tous, sans exception, formidables et d’excellent conseil ! La Piscine est très appréciable, le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux, l’hôtel est d’une irréprochable propreté, les chambres sont spacieuses, il y a un ascenseur, et des restaurants à proximité. Bref tout est parfait à l’hôtel Austral de Saint-Denis ! Je recommande les yeux fermés, et remercie vivement l’ensemble du personnel, qui a fait de mon séjour professionnel un moment chaleureux inoubliable et fort sympathique !mille mercis à tous !

J’ai séjourné dans la chambre 217 du 18 novembre au 20 novembre, chambre confortable, propre. J’ai apprécié le calme et l’amabilité du personnel. Je recommande car bien situé en centre-ville.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Saint Denis à pied. Les personnes à l'accueil sont très serviables et accueillantes. La petite piscine bien agréable pour se délasser. Les chambres sont parfaites avec tout ce qu'il faut, du petit frigo, à la bouilloire, à l'étendoir dans la salle de bain, la clim qui fonctionne impeccable, la literie très confortable, la télé avec Canal... Bref vraiment bien, le seul bémol, c'est l'insonorisation, quand le voisin prend sa douche, on a l'impression qu'il la prend dans la chambre, cela fait un bruit énorme... Pas très agréable, surtout quand il prend une douche de 20 mn à 22h le soir et que l'on a sommeil. Bref le bruit m'a empêchée de dormir... Dommage sinon tout est parfait

Très bonne surprise. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Emplacement idéal proche des loisirs. Personnel aimable. Parking exigu néanmoins. Propreté impeccable. La vue est superbe sur l’océan et les rues de Saint-Denis. Literie impeccable.

Accueil vraiment sympathique nous permettant l'accès au parking dès notre arrivée. Petit déjeuner buffet complet. Hôtel central pour une visite facile d'accès aux points principaux du chef-lieu. Chambre petite mais bien fonctionnelle.

Les lits sont confortables. Les WC ainsi que la SDB sont séparés, ce qui est fort plaisant. La télé est sur le bureau en face du lit ce qui n'est pas pratique pour travailler sur le bureau. Accès pour personnes en fauteuil roulant, grâce à des rampes mais aussi à un ascenseur !
