Lovely hotel well situated. Friendly and polite staff. Our room was a bit dated and needed modernising but it was clean and bed very comfortable. The superior rooms which we did not know about when we booked are far better and worth the extra cost. Lovely outdoor pool and terrace and indoor pool and gym

Lovely 3 days ..just bed as didn't do breakfast or even meals. Room was big an lovely ..would have liked a plug for phone near bed..an better coffee ..I'm fussy an nescafe isn't great! Staff fab an pool a great assett..would go again. A 15 min/1 miles walk to town to bear in mind . . We didn't have a car

Our room was basic, but clean, warm and very comfortable. The food was generous and delicious, and the pool just right. But the outstanding element was the staff.. Everyone we met was friendly, cheerful and couldn’t have been more helpful.

The hotel public areas and room furnishings were dated and the bed was uncomfortable, but the worst part of staying here was the smell. Everywhere throughout the hotel smells old and musty and it is very unpleasant. Did not try the food, the bar was relatively expensive.

The staff are so friendly and accomodating. We had to change rooms due to shower facility and they sorted it right away. The decor is a little dated but the beds are so comfortable. Bus stop right outside the hotel.

A gloriously hot sunny week so outdoor and indoor pools were very welcome! A bit tired but that’s reflected in the 3 stars and price. Room also a bit old fashioned and needs refurb but extremely clean throughout the hotel. Restaurant is lovely, both for breakfast and evening meal. Very reasonable prices and beautifully presented dinner. Wine very reasonable. The highlight of the hotel is the fabulous staff! Everyone from cleaners to waiters to reception staff were so friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Buses both ways stop outside and the walk through the millennium park is lovely. Fab little coffee shop in there too. All in all I’d recommend for the price and location.

Second stay here; just as happy as first time. Staff always friendly and helpful, an 'off piste' request is never a problem, just a task to be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Hotel convenient for both town centre and getting around the island.
