Chipman Hill Suites - Union Street

Presented as a lovely boutique AirBnB type experience, it was exactly as stated. Right in the heart of uptown we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see; restaurants, shops, city market, and the Imperial Theatre. Our two suites each had fully appointed kitchens with morning coffee as well. We stated we could have lived there for an extended stay with ease. Ability to walk stairs was a must and was fine. Everything was extremely keen and ready upon arrival. We were assigned indoor parking conveniently directly across the street. Our sweet Ukrainian housekeeper was as pleasant as they come. We were pleased to see her given an opportunity for employment as a newcomer fleeing the war with her children, since we had hosted 10 women fleeing since 2022.

Had a wonderful two night stay at this property and enjoyed the location, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much to the Chipman Hill Suites Staff! What a super team! As usual my stay was stress-free, relaxing and I got great sleeps in the most comfortable bed. The Suite was perfectly clean, tidy, quiet and so convenient in the heart of Uptown Saint John. I was happy to meet a few members of the team this time especially Mary Grace who was just like on the phone, very helpful, friendly and courteous. I cannot think of a better place to stay in Saint John! I've stayed in quite a few of the Chipman Hill Properties now and each one is 5 stars in my books. I feel like family there. Clean rooms, great location to scenic uptown Saint John. Lots of great restaurants and entertainment in walking distance. Highly recommended

Great place to stay - location in city center, easy access to suite, clean and comfortable room and bed, and professional and helpful staff. We stay there a couple of times a month.

I cannot recommend Chipman Hill Suites enough! I stayed there from Nov-May and the service and hospitality were exceptional my whole stay. The staff are so kind and helpful- they really made me feel welcomed. The general manager Erika in particular is fantastic! She is very responsive, accommodating, genuine, and friendly. There were a few small things I needed (a second set of keys, the smoke detector battery needed to be changed, a new parking pass) and these requests were all accommodated in a very timely manner. Additionally, Chipman Hill Suites went above and beyond to help me while I was home in another province visiting my family during Christmas break and could not move my car during a “snowban” (no cars allowed to be parked on the streets due to snow clearing). One of the staff members moved my car for me- I am still grateful beyond words!! The people are great, but so are the amenities- each week housekeeping provided fresh towels and bedding as well as other key items like toiletries, dish soap, and garbage bags. There are also laundry facilities which are free (as of the time of this review) for guests to use! The residence also felt very safe, as they change the door code each month. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic accommodation! This accommodation was unbelievable! The kitchen was very well equipped. Bedding and pillows were of high quality. Quiet and safe! Communication for check-in, parking and check-out was excellent!

Very nice property. We had a small suite which was a bit cramped but it had everything we needed including coffee and a good coffee maker. Very clean. Centrally located near the harbour and excellent restaurants. The only downside was a noisy air conditioner but it was hot and needed. We would definitely stay again

Had a great time and the accommodations were excellent. We hope to stay here again.
