Worst experience I’ve had in my many years of travelling We checked in late as we had a reservation at a restaurant for my friends birthday so we dropped our bags and got straight in a taxi. As we were leaving the staff told us the reception was closing which I thought was strange as it’s a hotel what if you need something? Upon our return to the hotel we realised there was no security at the gate and our taxi driver had to get out to physically open the gate We booked to stay in a villa with private pool but the villa clearly hadn’t been cleaned in weeks there was dust and spiders everywhere Literally 100’s of tiny spiders in the beds under the sheets and throughout the whole villa Towels covered in old spider webs and dust Dead cockroaches in the living area Lizard poop on the headboards and the chairs it was just gross a huge centipede even made an appearance As soon as we realised the state of the villa we tried to contact the number provided by trip but of course there was no answer as all the staff had left the premises. I let trip know we had to leave because we felt unsafe and that the villa was too unsanitary for us to even sit in. The villa didn’t have curtains for all the windows so you could see everything from outside And because there were no lights on outside the villa (we had to use our phone light to see the path) you wouldn’t know if anyone was standing outside looking in as they would literally be covered by the darkness Very sketchy and unsafe especially when there is no staff or security on site As a woman this is beyond concerning We returned in the morning at around 10 to drop the key and make a complaint I gave them my details and was told management would be in contact There wasn’t an apology or an ounce of care from Annika who heard my first official complaint I was in communication with trip who said they would contact the hotel, investigate and get back to me. The staff at the hotel told trip I hadn’t made any effort to contact the staff at the time of my findings or when checking out. How was I supposed to report to staff that aren’t on the premises? And claiming we didn’t make a complaint when we checked out tells me they simply threw out my complaint and my details as soon as we left the building. We went back to the hotel that afternoon. We were told by Kimberly that if we didn’t stay in the hotel then we would be eligible for a refund. I have this on video recording because at this point we know the staff aren’t telling the truth and would most likely claim they didn’t say so. We said that’s fine there will be cctv footage of us coming in and leaving within 45 mins max and returning the next day to officially check out. We were given a number to contact, we requested the CCTV footage and haven’t received it as they clearly don’t wish to give us the proof we would need to get a refund. Despite making a third complaint with all the proof they have refused to refund me and have instead offered us to stay again… as if anyone would want to return after being treated so poorly and traumatised by the bug infestations and utter lack of safety on site. The hotel is unsafe. Having a hotel of that size with no staff and no security is a recipe for disaster The staff are rude and untruthful and I still haven’t received a refund Disappointing doesn’t even cover it they ruined my friends 30th birthday and due to this experience I doubt I would try to stay at another Wyndham resort or hotel again Abina took a photocopy of my card front and back with the security details I found this very strange. Having a card on file or charging a deposit is a normal but this made me feel wary Luckily when I checked out and requested the paper back it was given with no issues but still very sketchy I have already reported to my bank just incase Sketchy staff Sketchy hotel -1/10 if I could rate it that I would

I stayed at the Ramada in St. Kitts for what was supposed to be a two-night stay during the Music Festival. It turned out to be a frustrating experience from start to finish. I’m giving this hotel one star—only because the staff were trying. The issues here are clearly bigger than them and seem tied to poor management or ownership. I checked in late at night. The staff at the desk were polite but overwhelmed, which I expected given the busy weekend. I got to my room and went to take a shower, only to realize the shower head was cracked and spraying water sideways onto the wall. I didn’t complain—just used the handheld attachment and made do. Around 4 a.m., I got up to use the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush. By 6 a.m., it was still down. I also noticed the room had no iron. I called the front desk a few times—no answer. When I checked the shower again, there was no running water at all. No warning, no note, no communication. I walked down to the front desk area and found it empty. Computers were covered in plastic. A security guard told me no one comes in until 8 a.m.—which is ridiculous for a hotel of this size. I asked him to call the manager, and the manager told him there was a water issue on the island and water would be turned on “shortly.” Whether that was true or not, guests should’ve been told. I had no way to bathe or iron my clothes for work. I ended up using the two small bottles of complimentary water to rinse off and went to work in wrinkled clothes. After that, I started calling around to find another hotel and was lucky enough to get a room at the Marriott—my original choice, which had been fully booked. I asked my partner to pack our bags and head to the front desk to request a refund for the two nights I booked. They refused to refund both nights and only agreed to one, citing “company policy.” This place is a mess, and unfortunately, it’s not the staff’s fault. They were polite and professional under pressure. But basic things—like working plumbing, running water, a 24-hour front desk, and honest communication—are completely lacking. I won’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Just book the Marriott. You won’t be disappointed

Rude and very unprofessional service by RAMADA receptionist(refuse to give her name and wasn't wearing name tag and I will say GM also(again refuse to give name) . It was my bday today 7th March so my wife and I decided to relax in Ramada(I live on island) . From morning everything was going Smooth and very nice but just before leaving I went to settle bill in restaurant and the restaurant was with full of glass decorations pic is attached I was settling bill and my wife was sitting on sofa and my 2 year old daughter suddenly left mom to come to me and she hit glass VASE accidentally and it broke. I apologize them and I from my good heart I asked them if you want me to pay some amount for the VASE so the lady went to management(she said GM but refuse to give name) and came back to me saying I need to pay $400 usd for it. I got shocked as I have worked in hotels before and accident happened but hotel never charge or shown bad behavior to customers.After talking to them for a long and the lady went to management to ask again and management told me to pay $150 usd. I did my instant research online I asked the lady why you are charging me so much when the smiler VASE is available online for 29 usd(pic attached). I offered them double amount $60 usd or let me order the VASE and get it to you. They refuse and told me to pay $150 usd for it to close the matter. I request a lot and made them understand its too much money for me but the receptionist told me in very very rude way to pay instantly or I will call police and used some ****** words and told will not allow you to leave the property unless you pay. With forceful and rude behavior of staff I left with no other option but to pay $150 and leave from there as the spoiled my bday already (they knew it was my b'day by the way) . I would suggest people with kids do not enter this hotel unless you are ready to pay any amount to hotel for anything happens there with or without your fault. I wish all the best to owner of the property but in my life I will never visit hotel RAMAD again and also will educates my friends and family about this incident.

Do not recommend. Strange place, several hundred rooms, only a handful filled. Felt like being in the hotel in the movie “The Shining.”Hotel is very far away from anything. $42 taxi ride almost one hour from airport. Rooms are new, but things are broken like air conditioning and safe. Plus rooms don’t seem to be used often resulting in cobwebs and dusty surfaces. Left after one night, tried to cancel rest of week. Were given a hard time by Kimberly, who needed to check with her manager, but refused to give us their name. Ramada policy online was one night penalty. Still trying to get refund for the rest. Moved to Koi Resort, much better.

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff were very friendly and professional, particularly the manager. The rooms are spacious and modern. They have a large pool to chillax in and NY far the best chinese food on the island. I would definitely stay here again

This is one of the most gorgeous resorts I’ve ever visited (and I’ve been all over the Caribbean). The pool area is absolutely gorgeous. Service at the cabanas was incredible. People were so genuine and nice. It’s pretty secluded so if you want to go into town, it will take a longer taxi ride but I got exactly what I came for. Definitely somewhere I would visit again.
