Aparthotel Adagio Access Saint-Louis Bâle Reviews

This was the cheapest apartman close to Basel, only 500 m from the tram 11 final stop. Not very good not bad but ok. I recommend it.

The room (apartment) is spacious, but the bedding is a bit too soft and there's no air conditioning. The hotel compensates by offering free fresh water and a fan, but during a heatwave, AC would be more appropriate.

We had the worst experience with this hotel. We booked through trip.com and paid in full for our booking. At the time of check out, they held us back with pur liggage to pay extra money to check out which I was not liable to pay I had my uber waiting and had a train to catch after 20 mins but these people wont leave us and asked for extra money. They argued with us for the money for 30 whole minutes which made us miss our trains to our next journey. They are not cooperative at all

The toilet seat had urine stains when we arrived, the floor seemed rather dusty and the room smelt rather bad upon entrance. I thought the kitchen would have at least the basics like salt and pepper but it didn’t. Thankfully the service was good. The room was spacious the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was quite nice. Very mid in my opinion.

Very good hotel, location, staff and room size Would recommend

The location is the main catch - 7 mins drive to the airport and 1 min walk to the France/Swiss border. Bus stop is right in front of the property and the tram stop is just 4 mins away.The apartment is ok, just basic. The property is a bit old but well maintained but can use some renovations especially the carpet. I perceived a funny smell as I stepped into the room (I think it's from the carpet). The service is fantastic, the staff attends to you with smiles always. There's a private swimming pool . There's a kitchenette in the room with some essentials(fridge, kettle , pots, plates, microwave, cutlery , induction and co)though I didn't get to use them. The room is spacious but the shower room is small.The cleaning can be done better - found some hair strands on the floor, dust/stains on the chair and the barrier at the back door/balcony. I like that the main door is always locked and you are given a code to unlock it from outside, feels safe. There's someone at the front desk 24 Hours. There is a restaurant directly opposite the property, I had dinner there on my first night, not bad and the price is reasonable. More cafes, shops and restaurants down the street about 3/4 minutes walk. The Lady at the front desk assisted me to order a taxi to the airport. New hand towel and sponge in the kitchenette Overall, not bad and it's reasonably priced.

Comfortable and well-located hotel

Location is good which is close to tram station, easy access to Basel city. It is close to supermarket too.

Hotel is well located. Walkable to all main attractions within 30 mins. I would recommend to book a rooms with a balcony worth it. Few small supermarkets on a street and another one bigger in 10 mins walk. 15 min from Gare Saint Louis. Room was big and clean !!! Nobody cleans my room for entire stay. No housekeeping at all. That was pretty disappointed

Smooth stay

The apartment was very nice.well furnished including the kitchen. It's located right by the border to Switzerland making it easy to visit Switzerland and Germany at anytime via Basel. There are shops right in front of the Hotel so you can cook your own breakfast. They also have a swimming pool which was great to get some cardio in during the cold. Only disappointment was that I left shoes in the apartment and the reception claimed they weren't brought so I was sad about this. Otherwise Id highly recommend ☺️👍

We was 9 night sejour in adagio hotel, the holidays days was very relaxing thank the personal, location and good apartment room to enjoy our trip.First of first all the receptionist was very friendly and kindly and the hotel large studio was super clean and comfortable,the bed very comfortable and can very good sleep, kitchen is well with all what need for to cook some lunch or dinner.The hotel hat one schwimpool but we have nothing us because was not the time for schwimm.. The location of hotel was super you can in saint louis shopping go directly to station Frontiere ( that is 100 meter form Hotel) with bus 604 up E.Leclerc saint Lois,( is 10 bus station) here find many französische Spezialitäten and the same time.from hotel up basel very close to basel city and Bahnhof train station with tram 11. We have pay week tickets for 7 days for 45 Frank pro person for Basel and all Basel Zone and for 47 Frank pro person tickets for Zürich for to go and back.The time is very quickly run and is everywhere many attractions., The Adagio hotel is for sure one address to recommend to another costumer.thanks for the nice holiday time.
