Our stay at this charming boutique hotel in the center of St. Louis was an absolute delight from start to finish. Set in a beautifully restored building, the hotel exudes historic charm while offering all the comforts of modern luxury. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the attention to detail in the decor. Each room is lovingly decorated, blending old-world elegance with contemporary flair. But the real showstopper? The breathtaking view of the river from the reading room. Now, let’s talk about the restaurant. Wow! We were blown away by the culinary delights served here. Hands down, the best food we’ve had in Senegal, and at such reasonable prices too. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, you’re in for a treat. Plus, the ability to pay with a card was a lifesaver, especially considering our struggles with finding a working ATM in the area. In summary, this boutique hotel exceeded all our expectations. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the delectable dining options and stunning views, every aspect of our stay was top-notch. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return for another unforgettable experience.

A beautiful riverfront hotel, the Siki is a great base in the heart of St. Louis island. The location is great for exploring the historical island, as well as walking over to the coastal fishing village. There are plenty of eating places within short walking distance as well. The hotel is a renovated historical building, with a central courtyard, wooden floors, and high vaulted ceilings. Our room was large and airy with a shuttered window looking over the street and the entrance door off the interior courtyard. The bed was a little hard, but we seemed to get a good sleep anyway. The AC worked fairly well, the Wifi was a bit slow, and the (very small) TV didn’t work at all. The shower was good but exhibited low water pressure at times. The onsite restaurant was decent - we had an amazing chicken yalla dinner one night. The breakfast was OK, a little anemic, a fairly small and basic buffet style affair. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend this place to other travelers looking for a good base in the heart of St. Louis.

I booked two nights in low season period. It costed more than $165 and in the room there was half-used shower gel, no shampoo and not even a single bottle of water. Breakfast was very poor unfortunately… location was nice and the breakfast staff was kind but the hotel overall quite overpriced. On top i saw a cockroach next to the sync on the last day…

This is a nice hotel located in the old town on the island. Food was good for dinner and breakfast basic but adequate. The rooms are fairly basic, but clean and everything worked. Overall a good hotel for a night or two in St Louis. Easy walking distance to explore the old town centre.

Best hotel in Saint-Louis. Beautiful architecture and great location, you can easily walk the whole island from here. Great AC and overhead fan which was a necessity. You can use the pool at the Hotel Flamingo two blocks away for 4000 CFA per day.

What a lovely surprise. Judging from their site we were expecting somewhere pleasant to stay in Saint Louis. On arrival, the cool calm atmosphere, lovely interior design and friendly efficient staff, made this into a great experience. Well situated, with a wonderful terrace that's perfect for sipping a cool glass of white wine while watching the world go by. Thoroughly recommend the Siki Hotel and encourage them to keep up the good work.

We where looking forward to attending the Saint Louis Jazz Festival, everything planned and great company. We booked 4 rooms for 8 people at the Siki hotel 6 month in advance, really looking forward to a great weekend as the photos on their website looked great. Avoid the hotel at any cost, the owner does not care about his customers, the rooms are substandard and we have had no water for most of the first 2 days. The breakfast is a joke, we could not even finish eating our first breakfast as the tomatoes where rotten, the ham from the cheapest supplier made in Senegal. We traveled with kids and where never able to get a table in the hotel restaurants as the hotel owner priorities outside bookings vs taking care of their clients. While Senegal welcomes foreigners to open Businesses in Senegal, let`s make sure those that do get an opportunity are professional.

It’s a good hotel in Saint Louis. Staff is very attentive, it’s relatively newly refurbished, design is nice. We got a corner balcony room, which has view to the sea. However, we couldn’t sleep well 2 nights out of the 3. The first night the neighbours were up until 3 a m and walls are made of paper, so we it was very noisy. The second night there was an election party until 3 am outside. Finally we slept on the 3rd day. Saint Louis is definitely worth a visit. However, you need to set your expectations. It must have been a beautiful colonial town during the 19. century, however, the locals don’t seem to appreciate it. In the place of once fancy carriages you see goats and garbage now. Still, you need to see it, it’s very special. The restaurant has good food (except Italian), but the chairs are very uncomfortable (seems like a Senegal thing).

I just spent 3 nights over Christmas at the Hotel Siki and loved the place. The hotel is perfectly located, oozes charm and my room was extremely comfortable. (Bonus points for a good shower and a high-ceiling fan.) The staff was friendly and professional, and they made it super-easy for a non-French speaker.
