St. Louis Union Station Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

great Hotel a must stay and do the tour!

We arrived at the hotel around 11am to store our luggage before going on a tour but the hotel was able to check us in with a different room type, which we gladly accepted. Thank you!

The dining hall was closed and you had to order dinner from the bar in the lobby, but other than that, nothing negative.

My toilet and sink were clogged. Initially I had to ask them to clean the toilet. Bed was clean and very nice. Neon lights and music out side my room on all day and night. Curtains did not keep light out. Would I stay again. No, but if you are younger and have children it would probably be okay. They do have a nice pool.

Girl at the check in desk was not the friendliest, when we got our bill we were overcharged more than $500. Luckily I checked the bill on line receipt. We were upgraded to a suite but it was not something we asked for and the accounting rep said she probably inadvertently charged us more for that reason. That is a huge mistake. We also thought parking was free! That was an eye opener to get that charge! Our grandkids had a good time but just think the charges were exorbitant. Waitresses and waiters were all very good.

For such a grand place, it felt like a old place to stay at. Staff try but communication is lacking. Expect to make a few calls to service and eveb then reche k bill. No coordination between hotel and ammenities.

Unión Station is gorgeous. We stayed there for our anniversary to watch the light show and hang out in the grand Hall and have cocktails. There was a wedding that night so they had the entire grand hall blocked off and we were not able to do any of that. The staff were not necessarily friendly and the whole place outside smelled like gas. The rooms were fine, but it just seems over priced.

The hotel was unique and admirable beautiful art all over! The staff was helpful the room service forgot to bring our request for more water and towels I had to get them myself. But over all I enjoyed the my stay.
