Hotels near Museum of Westward Expansion, St. Louis

This is the Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel. There is nothing special about this review. These days, hotels are so friendly that friendliness is taken for granted.

This is the 3rd time I've booked our family to stay here. Obviously they're doing something right... Well lots of things. I didn't get any pics this time, but believe me that the room was clean and ready when we arrived. We needed the bedding to be feather/down free due to allergies. Breakfast was standard and easy to eat; prepackaged waffle, biscuit and gravy, turkey and pork sausages, eggs, cereals, breads, etc.

The impression will depend on who will be at the reception. some workers are very nice, some are rude and arrogant. hotel stylish minimalism. lobby spacious and has a fireplace and beautiful bar. I like it. not the cleanest. on the floor in the room and in the corridors crumb. I love shower here. New beautiful gym. Some rooms have a microwave oven. Nearby many restaurants and Whole Foods. 5 minutes walk to bubble tea cafe

This is a very nice hotel with a good location. It was very clean although in the bathroom the painters left splashes of paint on the floor and in the shower. Plus all of us said there was a coffee machine in the rooms with coffee but no cups so you had to go downstairs and purchase coffee. It’s a pricey hotel but we would stay again. The museum upstairs is very nice.

I like the hotel. I wish they did coffee every morning. I like the little workout room. I didn’t get a chance to go to the rooftop bar. Great location! I kept an eye on my car from my room!

Parking was a little confusing because there’s a large lot right behind the hotel but I had to move my car to a building to the side after check in and it was an unexpected expense, but the hotel, location, room and bar are all great. It was a bit disconcerting to realize everyone in the bar already knew each other because they’re actually club members rather than guests, but I guess the name of the place should have tipped me off to that.

Friendly and helpful front desk. Comfortable room on top floor. Large comfortable shared lounge and games area if wanted for a group. Convenient location to universities and train station or town amenities by car or walking. Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but you can get advice for where in the city to park.

The over all stay was good , but during check out time they add the green energy tax even though it was prepaid booking.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Every time I come to St. Louis to stay here, the main room can cook, there is a suite and there is a sofa bed, but the disadvantage is that the beds are slumped, very soft and uncomfortable. It is convenient to have a washer and dryer on each floor. Light meals and beer are available at around 5 pm from Monday to Thursday. They are provided free of charge. It is simple in the morning but still full. There are a lot of people on the weekends, mostly black but safe.

I had a very nice stay clean room and friendly staff. I will stay here again.
