3Br Log Cabin Near St. Mary's Glacier, Sleeps 9 — 10/10 Rated

Cozy mt. cabin vibe. Kitchen was small but well supplied. The only issue we had was with the refrigerator. The freezer didn't work right. Our ice cream melted & water dripped into the refrigerator. Comfort level of the beds was a 6. Not enough dresser storage. Couldn't use the fire pit due to the fire ban. Location was excellent. St Mary's glacier trailhead was less than a mile away but be prepared to pay 20 for parking. Idaho Spgs is close by with lots if restaurants & cute shops.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at the Cabin at St Mary's Glacier very much; the hosts even put up a Christmas tree by the fireplace which was a considerate touch. The host was very communicative and responsive, and the cabin was remote but cozy. The cabin is a bit of a drive up a windy road, about 20 minutes away from the town, so getting up and down the mountain in the winter was a little challenging. The linens and beds were very comfortable; however, the cabin could use a deep cleaning and some reorganization. And the oven was almost completely unusable; it would not maintain temperature and trying to cook in took 3-4 times as long as it should have. The cabin does have a new toaster/convection oven, so we used for that for a couple of meals, but it's small so plan to prepare smaller dishes if you need to bake anything. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay in a cozy cabin hosted by considerate people!

Relaxing and picturesque cabin nestled in the trees close to mountain lakes and St Mary’s Glacier. We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was thoughtfully designed so that all eight of us slept well, had room to hang out (indoor and on the deck outside!) as well as cook our meals!! Highly recommend!

Snow mountain If you’re looking for a nice cabin up in the mountains this is it. We booked a trip in late spring and the place was still 3-4ft deep in snow.

AMAZING Hosts and Property- Ill be back! This was the perfect getaway where I truly was able to relax and unwind with a great book and the cozy fire place! The host were my saving grace as I was not able to get up the hill with my 4x4 as it was extremely icy when I arrived. I called them and explained and they were able to send someone to get me settled in. They also cam out and shoveled and made sure I had everything I needed. I also took a hike at St. Mary's Glacier as its truly just up the road. Very excited to come back here!

Mrs. This cabin is absolutely beautiful and it really feels like home when one comes in the door. The king sized bed was so comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and the cabin was very clean. The owners were very easy and helpful. I would definitely recommend their cabin.

The only problem we had was that we had to leave…but we WILL be back!! We knew the cabin was beautiful from the photos and, having been to the Rockies before we had an idea of where we would be staying. However, from the moment we pulled up (after a 14 hour drive) and saw the soft fairy lights on the porch, the living room light had been left on for us, and they had soft music playing as we entered…we fell in love! Check in was so easy, check out was even easier! The cabin is beautiful and fully stocked. My daughter and I had a grand time cooking and baking while there. My husband and I took the kids around the Rockies to show them the area and everyone had a blast! When we would come “home” after a day out we would start a fire in the fireplace, start a movie for the family, while I would cook a delicious dinner using the very well-stocked kitchen. After dinner we would all sit around the dining room table to play board games. We all found plenty of ways to keep ourselves relaxed and/or entertained while at the cabin. Most of us didn’t even keep our phones on us because we were too busy enjoying the cabin/area and each others’ company (a rare thing in this day and age). Idaho Springs is just at the bottom of the part of the mountain where the cabin is located, and has a great grocery store, varied restaurants, and activities. Denver is only about 45-60 minutes away, but you won’t feel the need to go unless you absolutely have to. Zedi was always there if/when we needed him but also let us enjoy the cabin peacefully unless we reached out.

Property is as described. Property was secluded and very quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful cabin near some amazing hikes and views In short, the cabin has all the necessities to make your short or long stay comfortable. All the pots and pans you could want for cooking and even an Insta Pot. Plenty of extra towels, etc. There is a firepit table on the deck and a separate real firepit on the property grounds. We had a great time spending a week at the cabin. Just watch out for that altitude sickness.
