We loved the Enodoc, beautiful hotel situated in a seaside village. Everywhere you look, there are fresh scenes of blue, green and colourful flowers. Dan in the restaurant is excellent, he made us amazing cocktails Zoe on reception is super friendly and attentive. The food in the brasserie was delicious, id love to stay again

Friendly welcome. Comfortable surroundings. Good food and prompt service. Good selection on menu to suit most states. Lovely terrace view across the gardens. Had a lovely beetroot starter and plant based burger for mains. Would recommend for a relaxed informal meal

Myself, my husband and his Mum stayed here for a weekend visiting family. The hotel is beautiful…the gardens especially, and the view is amazing. Our room was spacious and comfortable with lovely soft bedding and a huge comfy bed…bathroom was spacious and luxurious also. The lounge and brasserie were beautifully decorated and lovely spaces to be in…there was a wonderful air of relaxation throughout the whole hotel which was just what we needed. We ate in the brasserie restaurant on one of the evenings, food was delicious…and so was the Cornish breakfast. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful and all work really hard. Special thanks to Trill, Mike and Dan who made our stay extra special xxx

We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at The St Enodoc Hotel. We have stayed here before and visited on several occasions for drinks, so we have always enjoyed the lovely warm, comfortable feel and setting of the hotel. This recent visit was exceptional from the minute we arrived. Zoe, on reception, who had taken our initial booking several months earlier had noted a previous stay room preference and whilst unavailable at the time of booking, following a cancellation, provided us with a room upgrade to our preferred room on arrival. This epitomised how we found all staff at St Enodoc, going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful and memorable stay. Breakfast was excellent, the eggs out of this world, with staff interested in plans for the day. We enjoyed the most amazing evening meal. Scallops beautiful cooked, followed by Cote de Boeuf, which was amazing. Dan is an incredibly knowledgeable restaurant manager who skilfully leads you through both the food and bar menu. A wonderful host. Our room was fabulous and the housekeeper for our room was outstanding. The room spotless upon our return. The St Enodoc is a real gem. An independent hotel where staff provide a bespoke service. Thank you, and well done to all the staff with special thanks to Zoe and Dan.

Lovely fresh hotel, beautiful rooms with panoramic views and great service and food. Modern facilities with nice accents. We went for Easter and we loved the handmade chocolate eggs for all guests! Lovely touch. The food is good but always room for improvement! The staff are helpful and friendly. The one thing that held it back from being a 5* was the ‘Spa’! Bit of stretch - it’s a couple of treatment rooms. No sauna, steam room or all round heated pool! Shame but this could be easily rectified! Maybe next time.

What a wonderful couple of days we had staying at St Enedoc. Our room was beautifully presented, lovely bathroom and toiletries. Dinner in the brasserie was excellent as was the full Cornish breakfast. The staff were amazing, very attentive and obliging. I simply couldn’t fault it. We will be going back .

Another wonderful stay at St Enodoc. Warm, relaxed, intimate atmosphere, ever-friendly staff, wonderful food (my wife can't get enough of the hispi cabbage) and big, beautiful views from our estuary-view window. Special mention goes to Nadia at the Spa; my 90 min massage may have been the Best Massage I've Ever Had. Can't wait to return. Thanks from Wendy, Bowie the Dog and I.

A fabulous evening of excellence food experience. Martyn , the chef created a super 6 course tasting menu which accommodated one Gluten Free, one no cheese and one no seafood diners. We all had an excellent evening helped by Matt and Meghan who presented the food and wine with aplomb and enthusiasm. We would love to return.

My wife and I recently stayed at the St Enodoc hotel for four nights. What a treat it was as well! The welcome at reception was very friendly even though we arrived early and were drenched through (and were happy to take our wet walking boots and put them in the laundry room to dry overnight!) We were shown to our nice, spacious, room with estuary view on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good-sized desk and chairs to relax on, with a super view over Rock and the Camel estuary. The bathroom was very good with a bath / shower and very nice Land and Water shower and bath amenities. There were plenty of towels refreshed daily as needed. Being able to have a bath after a day of cliff-walking is definitely a big plus. There was also plenty of wardrobe space and hangers - as well as lots of cupboard space. Fresh bottled water was also provided daily as well. The team were also more than happy to provide fresh milk for tea / coffee in your room, given the kettle and mugs that were provided. One final point, given the wet weather we endured, is that the rooms were very warm (no shirking on heating to save costs). There were also really good, sensible, windows to deal with the weather - which included 50mph winds while we were there. For those on B&B packages the cooked breakfasts were wonderful - with beautifully fresh eggs (cooked how you wanted) to go alongside a classic Cornish breakfast (the sausages and bacon were also first class) and a choice of cereals and pastries as well as juices and hot drinks. Even when we needed to be out of the hotel by 8am one day - breakfast starts at 7.30 - the team had us fed and ready in good time - without us feeling as though we had rushed - first class service! One of the best 'a la carte' breakfasts we have had. We were also on the package that included dinner in brasserie. The chef has previously worked in Michelin starred restaurants and the quality showed. As might be expected in a costal location the fish was outstanding - my wife had both the Plaice and Hake dishes on various nights, while I stuck with the meat and enjoyed an excellent pork loin dish as well as a great sophisticated burger and super hot chips. Desserts were also excellent. If this was the quality of the Brasserie - the fine dining mush be outstanding! The other thing that struck us was how much care and attention have been paid to the wonderful gardens. The Hotel employs two full time gardeners and they have done great things - if you like what you see, you can buy cuttings - but then all the proceeds go to local charity. In summary, this was a wonderful place to be based for our trip to North Cornwall, and we would unhesitatingly recommend it - both the hotel and the brasserie.
