The hotel is nice & cozy. The bed is so comfortable. All the staffs @ the front desk are very helpful & attentive to your needs. I will definitely come again & stay in this hotel.

Realy cool hotel.Freshly renovated in 2022. 5 restaurants for all kind of tastes. A nice , cosy and big lounge with fire place. Close to ski lift Signal (500m) 10min by feet or one bus stop away.

We visited this place during a trip with the Glacier Express train. Unfortunately we got one of the rooms which are small and needs refurbishment and upgrade. Everything was clean and worked fine but the room had simply not a 4star level. the staff was friendly and efficient, the rest of the hotel was nice.

I booked this through the Switzerland Travel Centre as a package with some other activities. The hotel is about 1.8km south west of the train station. It is a walkable distance even with luggage (at most one roller case and another small piece) but be aware on the way to the train station there is a small slope. If walking it can be scenic if you walk along the lake. I was picked up by the hotel on (my late) request - it was snowing and I had a lot of luggage. The hotel is in a quiet area. The hotel itself is tidy and clean. I can't remember which area of hotel my room was in (Metro something) but I had to walk through a bar area which was often a lively and busy are to get to the stairs/lift to my room. I often felt a bit awkward doing that. I didn't check if the room I booked was the room I got. However, the room was a standard design, adequately sized and comfortable. The furnishings were well maintained and looked new. I had a view of the courtyard and another part of the building. Although not as scenic as a lake view, the snow did make it special. Breakfast was included and probably a good idea given there didn't seem to be many options for breakfast nearby. I used the laundry service. I was surprised there was a 25% surcharge for same day service even the laundry is taken down to reception before 9am/ Turns out this was the case in another town I visited in Switzerland. Nevertheless I used the service. When clean laundry was returned it in the same bag I used to but the dirty laundry in. If that concerns you I would recommend you put your laundry in a plastic bag you do not wish to keep and put that bag into the hotel's laundry bag. Staff are pleasant and multilingual, and it appeared that English was the native language of many of the staff.

Best described as functional. We were are on a Swiss railways trip by Great Rail journeys. We would not have picked this hotel. It’s not really in St. Moritz. It’s the other side of the lake. There is a good bus service. We were also visiting in the summer and many of the restaurants were closed for the season. The staff in the hotel bar were friendly. However this isn’t a hotel in which you would want to spend too much time.

Very comfortable modern hotel which feels much like a ski lodge - very cosy and a great timbered bar with fireplace. Nice rooms with all facilities and a good breakfast. Friendly staff go the extra mile. You will need transport from the station - about 20 Euros.

Very disappointing, certainly not worthy of 3 stars. Restaurant staff including the manager were quite rude as we were part of a luxury travel group. They couldn't get us out of the restaurant quick enough at dinner. Average buffet food, again not worthy of 4 stars. Small bedrooms with no spare electrical sockets - we had to unplug one of the lamps. Stunning views but a small window to view them. Average toiletries and scratchy towels. Lovely bar area with a real fire in the centre. Reception staff were welcoming.

Hello *******, This is regarding Itinerary # 72527315933031. We booked two rooms for two days at Hotel Laudinella in St.Moritz, Switzerland from 10 to 12 June. I initially contacted you on 4th June regarding cancellation of one room, explaining the situation of my parents, who are senior citizens and were tired after sightseeing and travel in the US and were unable to travel to Switzerland. ******* spoke to the Hotel and informed me that the hotel is not accepting cancellation. Then I called the hotel directly and the lady initially said that I can speak to the manager once I am there at the Hotel on 10 June. When I reached the Hotel on 10th, I explained the previous discussion had with ******* and the hotel staff and I told him that we are only two adults with one child and we need only one room. He did not entertain the request and gave me the keys for two rooms. He said that he cannot do anything and the people in the reservation desk already left for the day and I will have to wait till next morning. Next morning, I enquired for the reservation desk, but the lady at the reception called a number and asked me to talk to the person on phone line, saying that the other person on the line is from the reservation team. The lady on the phone line rejected my request citing ******* rules do not permit to refund/credit. So, ******* is blaming the hotel and hotel is blaming *******. I request you to look into the problem and issue a credit so that I can use it later.

The quadruple room on the 4th floor is really nice, service at the dinner buffet is questionable at best. First, the manager wanted to seat 6 people at a 4-person table. No, that’s not going to work. How is that going to work? Then he wanted to split family groups across different tables so they didn’t have to clean the larger empty table. No explanations, nothing. We asked why we couldn’t just take the larger table, we don’t mind waiting for them to clean it quickly. No, we just couldn’t have that table. Why couldn’t we just sit at a random table with other strangers from our tour group? You’re all one group anyway! We said no, you can’t split a family like that. What kind of manager just walks away from customers and leaves a waiter to make his argument for him? And then tells the kitchen to start closing in retaliation? I don’t make a habit of yelling at service workers. This was warranted. The rude and condescending, probably racist, attitudes of your buffet manager and some of those waiters needs to be corrected, or maybe that’s just what Europeans are like now. We’re telling our tour company to never take their customers here again. Adriano from the waitstaff was wonderful. An extra star for him.

Due to several groups arriving in the restaurant at the same time, things were a bit hectic for a moment, for which we sincerely apologize. Normally, the groups sit together, which is why there was no individual table prepared for your family. The only available table at that moment was a table of 4. Another, larger table had to be cleaned first (which we offered to do, contrary to your statement), at which point you got angry and responded to our head waiter with a very rude gesture (which was witnessed by several staff members). Also, we find your comment about our staff (and European's in general for that matter) being racist very insulting, especially seeing as we employ staff from more than 10 different nations in our hotel.
