Holiday Inn ST. PAUL DOWNTOWN by IHG

I liked the cleanliness, address (as in, close to places we wanted to go) and staff. This place could use some updates. Just looks a bit beat up and dated. Bring earplugs. You can hear every room door in the hall slam closed from your bed and the location provides a lot of street noise (even on the 7th floor). The TV situation is actually comical. Old school, 40 cable channels. Did not check out the pool but the Wild Bill’s Saloon restaurant that is attached had great food and service.

The staff was very helpful, rooms are clean. The restaurant could improve the breakfast items, but besides that it s great place to stay.

clean room, one ply toilet paper in the bathroom was disappointing hahaha. but overall pleasant stay and will stay again without a doubt!

My only compliant was that people we very loud coming in from the bar. Repeatedly woke up. Could hear them in hallways.

Very noisy. People yelling in the halls, walls definitely not sound proof. At 0200am someone was on the phone in the hall talking very loudly outside our room, called the front desk and they sent security up but the person continued to talk on the phone. The beds were hard. But great location for the MN Wild game & had a nice option for drinks before.

Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location

The rooms were loud and you could hear many noises by other guests and furniture in the room was falling apart (shelving in bathrooms). Location was extremely convenient for our state tournament.

The reservation manager was friendly and accommodating when I spoke to him on the phone for the reservation. The actual front desk staff gave me the feeling we were inconveniencing them. The room was also starting to show age and furniture (shelving in bathrooms) was coming off the wall. Noise seemed to be more than I remember in years past as well.
