Sirata Beach Resort St Pete Beach

Excellent location. We come every year

Check-in went smoothly and we were able to check-in before 4PM. My wife and I have been staying at the Sirata since the 90's. Parking has always been included in the room price, but now they add $25 per night for parking, which is excessive based on the already high room rate. The Sirata was purchased not too long ago, and, based on our room, the new owners have apparently not spent any money on repairs or upgrades since then. Our room showed years of wear, including plumbing fixtures, floors, rusting door frames, and damaged cabinetry. Our room safe was locked and couldn't be opened. We called for maintenance and waited almost an hour for them to show up. He couldn't open the safe either, so he returned with a new safe that he placed in the bottom of the night stand. Also, our refrigerator would not close. Maintenance came and repaired it. The food was very good at Rum Runners, and the service was excellent.

Rooms need maintenance. Lost water in the middle of both days. Staff is excellent. Location is excellent.

Beautiful beach and pool area with a poolside restaurant and bar . Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I can make would be the cleanliness of the bathroom, shower grout could have been scrubbed better to remove mildew.

The service was horrible from the second we stepped foot on their property until a week after we checked out. We are normally budget vacationers, so we don't need much, but we decided to splurge for the suite with Ocean view, it ended up being very outdated but that was fine with us. As we pulled into the property, we were stopped at the guard's shack. The gentleman asked for our name, looked it up and told us to park off to the left and go in a particular door. After waiting at the desk, they tell us we're at the other hotel in the parking lot next door, great start! We take all our luggage in 90-degree heat across the parking lot and wait in another line. We head to our room and we're now a quarter mile away from where we were told to park. My wife and I go to take showers and the drain immediately clogs and you have to continue turning the water off every 60 seconds. So, I pickup the phone to call the front desk, it doesn't work. The next morning, I go back to the office we got our key from and they're closed. I have to continue walking further over to the first office which is over 500ft walk each way and tell them about the drain. 24 hours goes by and nothing is done about the drain. I make another long walk back to the desk to tell them for a 2nd time. The same gentleman at the desk didn't seem concerned at all, didn't apologize and just said, we'll send them out. Limited space here, rest on their Google review. Complete failures

Horrible experience. You gotta pay $70 per room extra fyi when u check in. Resort fee and parking. So $700 for 1 night. No one would bring sheets and blankets. Or answer phone. I had to hunt down the sheet room and a person. The lady at desk was just on her phone not answering the phone nor did she put phone down when I went in. Ordered kids some fries… $7, had 10 small fries. The beach chairs I was told was in fees, nope another $70. Won’t return ever.

My room was in disrepair including Briana nd missing items and significant filfth in the room. I reported and was offered a smaller room in similar condition though next to a group of adults drinking, smoking and hollering. I stayed in my original space. The whole place is in need of renovation and is not as advertised.

nice beach! loved the refrigerators and kitchen area, floors in room were not clean. lazy cleaning staff. pool area was really nice. difficult parking due to construction and messy outside. rooms are old and out dated however, not bad if they would just do a little work to update. doors were hard to close and loud and noisy, so it was difficult to be quite when members of family (child) are asleep. loved the laundry. just a few things and you are a 4 or 5 star guys ...really just get your stuff together.
