Awesome stay and location!!

Overall experience was a 10/10, the establishment was clean and the people were VERY friendly. The only thing I will say is that I was not expecting was that they would ask us to go to an “open house”. It was a sales meeting for Bluegreen vacations (you do get somethings for going) so it wasn’t bad for us at all. I will say they’ll tell you it’s like 90 minutes…expect more of a 3 hour range and if you’re interested a bit longer than that.

Hotel was clean but outdated rugs were dirty bathtub had a little rust in it said it was a balcony room no balcony which is what I requested

5 night stay rumfish resort. Pros Located on a beach Chairs and cabanas Onsite restaurants and drinks Plenty of pools, hot tubs, and things to do on site Walking distance to shops and more restaurants. Cons Dirty furniture( couch armrest black from dirt) and bedding ( dirty sheet with food on them, the foot of the bed linen was black and stained on the underside) old and dated hardware and rooms. Failed to restock and ran out of toilet paper despite housekeeping there everyday. Ants in showers Staff not very accomadating, check out Receipt from check out, very confusing and not much help from the lady trying to explain it to me as she couldnt get the total right. Got charged an extra 168 dollars on my credit card that according to the receipt should have been credited. The 2 hour tour they pressure you into signing up for by promising 250 voucher and snacks and food, once they got there, they didnt have food because not enough people showed up ((scam)). The amneties they include on your amenity fee, zip line not working due to having to order a part, big slide not in service, aquapark closed due to temperature. The blow up surf board not in service. 55 dollar amenity fee to much for the basic amenity recieved. Will not go here again. Not worth the price and its a money pit once you check in and they have all control of your credit card.

This hotel is a companion to the Trade Winds Island which is about a 5 minute walk. It is geared towards families with children ages 14 and up. The weather was very chilly and windy when it wasn’t raining. The activities are all outdoor. Activities for younger children were at the other hotel. They offer really nothing for ages 2-3. The restaurants very very nice. The room was much smaller than expected and the beds are not double beds. The weather was not the fault of the hotel. But the museum or other indoor options were largely in Tampa and were usually an hour away.

This hotel had many things to do from laying on the beach to zip lining. Property was well kept and taken care of.

Facility is very outdated. Our room was very small with little room for luggage and personal items. The property is in a convenient location for dining options off site. Resort fee is too high considering that the majority of amenities were located at another resort

The stay was relaxing and everyone was friendly beds and Roos were comfortable and clean. Food was not great and very over priced

Property was great, staff was outstanding, my only negative is that the food is very expensive
