We had a great time at St. Pete Beach Suites. We had a room by the auxillary pool and it was awesome. Kids played giant chess, corn hole, jenga. Had outdoor seating and just a cool spot. The pool was refreshing and felt like our own. The main pool is heated and a little deeper, also a nice spot. Having two pools meant neither was super crowded.
The rooms were very nice. Had a separate bedroom with two beds and then a larger living space with a pullout couch. Full fridge and kitchen was convenient. Easy to cook, hang and eat in the space.
The ice machine at this place was one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. Always working always full, you can't beat that.
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The lady at the front desk, I think Lori was great! Helpful with check in and getting our rooms close together.
It's close enough to the beach where you can walk there without having to cross Gulf. It was about a one song walk to the beach.
You can get food at the snack shack on the beach, or Cool Vibes is a bar right across the street. Open late and good food. We also walked to Ricks Reef, they had really good mahi and a good vibe. Or you can walk to the convenience store on Gulf.
Its really conveniently located and close to a lot of things without having to walk on or cross the main road. It has a vintage old school feeling to it while also looking very updated and . It felt like home more than some of the huge resorts. My family and I will be back!
