Stayed 2 nights in this imposing, beautifully restored castle. Really historic, but very comfortable, with a private sitting room in our suite, as well as the communal one. all mod cons and very well equiped and cleaned. Vast grounds and plenty of secure parking. Very peaceful and close to the pretty village. Owners delightful, very helpful and full of useful local advice. Breakfast first class. Only downside wasthe lack of restaurants in the village on a Sunday/Monday, meaning a drive to the two suggested (though one was within a long walking distance). Much recommended.

Excellente visite faite par un jeune étudiant en histoire qui est passionné par ce qu'il fait. La visite était très intéressante, et notre guide avait toutes les réponses à nos interrogations. Je recommande vraiment cette visite.

INFO IMPORTANTE aux futurs clients ! Si vous devez annuler votre séjour (hors Covid) l’entière réservation vous sera retenue sans discutions. Si vous annulez à moins de 14 jours on vous retiendra 30%. La totalité si c’est moins de 14 jours. Bien réfléchir avant d’aller à cet endroit où l’on a l’esprit rigide, avis aux amateurs ! Nous avons dû annuler pour cause de maladie.

Accueil merveilleux dans ce château du XVeme. Calme absolu et confort royal. Les propriétaires, passionnés, vous font découvrir les trésors de cet endroit hors du temps. Mention spéciale pour le potager renaissance et le petit déjeuner royal dans une cuisine voûtée décorée de casseroles en cuivre.

Lieu chargé d’histoire qui nous est contée par le propriétaire amoureux des vieilles pierres et soucieux de la sauvegarde du patrimoine. Très intéressantes explications techniques au sujet de la restauration des corps du château. Accueil irréprochable, amabilité et disponibilité. Au petit-déjeuner, produits du terroir de grande qualité proposés par Madame la propriétaire très attentive à notre bien-être. Étape à recommander sans réserve. Très belle découverte au restaurant l’Atelier issoirien à Issoire, étoilé Michelin. Cuisine inventive dans le respect des saveurs.
